Making this post in the main forum because AT me nahi likh sakti because it ain't appreciation.

Saw today's episode after finding out that Kuhu Kunal had a proper scene today. I don't why I am still keeping up with what is going on in this show but whatever.

This show seems to have completely lost it's charm and the plot. The only thing that remains same is the music.

What is with this baby fever on this show?? All of these people's relationships are so unstable. How are they thinking of babies? Why do these elder people not get that kids are not a solution for relationship issues! Thankfully, Kuhu understands that she isn't ready for kids. Chalo, ek insaan toh hai!

Also, can Abir stop pressurising Mishti!!

And Mishti, just because you're thinking about giving your future kid a happy life does not mean you're ready for a kid. What was that dialogue?!! I mean, is that all you need before thinking of having a CHILD???

Coming to Kuhu-Kunal (definitely not KuhuNal. I am unable to ship these two), who are these imposter versions?? Kunal is not worried about a jhagda between his Maa and Bhai, and just happy that he wasn't reprimanded. He is not Kuhu's husband, Meenu ka Munna or the bridge between Maa and Bhai anymore. The only things that still remain in this 2.0 version is that he is a workaholic and Bhai bhakt, and that has also been dialled up. And what have they done to Kuhu?!! They've made Kuhu into this ditsy, comic relief character. Yes, she was funny but her humour was a sharper play on words, not this slapstick nonsense. All the depth in her character seems to have gone. Frankly, not just her character but almost all characters.

The Meenu-Abir scene was so off. I have no clue what was off but something definitely was. My suspicion is on some of the dialogues and how the scene was shot and scored. It was soooooo different (not good different) from the old Meenu-Abir scenes even though the basic conflict was similar.

Now, lastly, the KuhuNal scene. I really need to punch this Kunal 2.0 once to be able to digest this scene as cute after he called her childish and immature. It makes me so sad and angry because I am 100000% sure that the actual Kunal would never say that and the original Kuhu would never keep ignoring it. She would give him a proper jawaab for his nonsense, and not melt everytime he made as much effort as picking up a pen.

I never thought I would say this but KuhuNal are not cute at all. Nothing from their dialogues to their scenes to their antics is cute because none of it makes sense in relation to the characters we saw build up in the last year. Based on the dialogues and their expressions, it literally feels like Kuhu is a college girl who has this huge crush on a guy and the guy is doing everything (and by everything, I mean, the bare minimum) he needs to, to have a peaceful life and get some action when he wants.

watching the episode got me thinking if its the same show that got me discussing every dialogue, intentions, povs of characters for pages after pages, and now I cant even write more than a few lines??

the layered show it used to be has just been reduced to a prime-time family drama

disapponted is what I feel after watching every episode nowadays💔

In this series, every character is butchered. They change in every episode. There is nothing to write in detail because even after deep analysis, these characters are gonna change in no time. Seems like watching comedy episodes and nothing to predict for future.

Bekhudi never failed to put a smile on my face. Kuhus love for kunal was the best part of this show. His small gestures that made her so happy . For the first time i listened to bekhudi and felt zero emotions for the characters in screen. May be the makers intended for it to be a cute scene and I finally felt nothing. If the new spoiler is true I would be so happy if kuhu would just divorce kunal

Maybe bcoz this is what sells. Hindi tv audience that influence TRP like to see only cliched saas-bahu fights, sarees, makeup and pregnancy tracks.

I had stated watching this show bcoz the female lead had specs, was confident, then even the romance was beautiful. But the moment shadi track came, I knew the show will become like the rest and I was right.

I didn't want to be right :(

I just watched the KuhuNal scene after reading your post.I think I liked this scene the best till now from whatever scenes we have got post the new Kunal entered the show. For the first time, Kunal actually spent time with Kuhu ensuring she had his undivided attention. Given the serious track we have for MishBir with BenBa being upset, I like the sunshine that KuhuNal are bringing in. IMO, the CVs, I think are trying to find the rhythmn for KuhuNal. Kuhu is the one who is expressive in the relationship, Kunal has always been subtle about it. Finally we have him explicitly putting Kuhu at priority. She is trying to be a little extra as always and Kunal for me is trying to play along with it - which paves way for the banter. Again, I know the earlier version of Kunal used the words childish and dumb to put Kuhu down and hurt her emotionally. But this Kunal is not the earlier Kunal. I love that they addressed the not ready to have kids part - this was such a real conversation where both of them expressed their feelings about having children. I am willing to give the CVs the chance to find their character's rhythmn. But I won't have them flipping Kuhu like toast to suit their masala needs of the show.

IKR?!! Watching these episodes makes you feel that we were watching a different show then. Abhi toh kuchh bhi ho raha hai. It makes me so sad because the show had soooooo much potential with the way it was established.

I really don't believe this is what sells. This used to sell. I don't think that is the case anymore otherwise the TRPs of all the shows would be much higher. In the lockdown, so many people got back to watching quality content with OTT platforms and re-runs of Mahabharat and Ramayan on DD. Those had good storyline. Those 3 months were such perfect opportunity to sit back and see what these guys were making and actually experiment, make better content, but these people went in the complete opposite direction.

The old show had so much good, layered story but not anymore😭

Dil ki baat keh di!

I never thought I would be in so much support of their divorce but I am!! So am!! KuKu were the perfect couple, so healthy, so wholesome, but I can't say the same for KuhuNal.
