Varun Ketaki’s Chandlo Matli
The episode begins with Mishti about to be hit by a speeding truck when it comes to a screeeching halt because of another car halting before it . Mishti is shocked n relieved , so is Abir . Abir thanks the stranger in the car . He turns out to be Varun and he reprimands the truck driver for driving mindlessly . Abir n. Arun get friendly n realise they had similar tastes . This was too much of a coincidence that Ketaki’s would be groom meets Ketaki’s bhaiya bhaabhi . They all excitedly reach Rajvansh Sadan as Varun wants to surprise Ketaki .
At Rajvansh Sadan Meenu is furious with Kuhu for spiking Abir’s drink on Shivaratri , while she explains it was a mistake n accidental , she had done nothing purposely . Meenu refuses to listen to any excuses , lashes out at Kuhu . Nidhi tries time calm Meenu reminding her that Ketu’s in laws might arrive any moment . Kaushal asks Meenu to stop pondering over past incidents , to forget n move on .
meenu accuses Kuhu n Mishti for fighting all the time m spooling the atmosphere at home n they are all set to spoil Ketu’s alliance too .
meenu asks them to inform Mrs Soni that Chandlo maatli will be postponed . She orders all members will eat together at dining table , no excuses . She will manage the house her way , her beta bahu might run the house in what ever way they choose after Meenu is no more .
As Meenu is ordering MishBir return home accompanied by surprise for Ketu in the form of Varun.
Rajvansh familiy warmly welcomes Varun, he is a jolly n easy going guy n wins every ones hearts easily with his pleasant behaviour . They all begin the preparations , Kuhu n Mishti are sent to dress up Ketu .
Mishti skeptically agrees after getting a nod from Abir .
abir wants Meenu to keep Kuhu n Mishti separate for few days but Meenu is against the two sisters For spilling the family happiness .and asks Abir to make sure the family is allowed to display fake happiness in presence of outsiders to say the least .
In Ketaki’s room Kuhu and Mishti are about to dress up Ketu , Kuhu lashes out at Mishit n begins her rain of blame n accusations on her . Mishit gets teary eyed and asks Kuhu to calm down . Ketu also tries to calm them, Nidhi enters n accuses both sisters of fighting all the time and asks a Mishti to rest in her room and let peace reign .. Mishti wants to deck up Ketu and even Ketu wants Mishti to deck up hot both are upset as Mishit leaves the room.
Mishti is going to her room and is confronted by Meenu and she begins her rain of questions n accusations on Mishti . Poor Mishti is teary eyed when Abir thankfully comes to her rescue . Mishti is tactfully saved by Meenu n take to their room by Abir . Meenu blames Mishit for keeping Abir away from his family for three months .
soon the Rajvansh family is seen giving a warm welcome to Soni family . Mishti is given the duty to do Aarti n welcome her Nandoi’s family . Mishti gets on the verge of paranoia seeing the red kumkum on the Aarti thaali, Abir notices this n tactfully removes the kumkum and Mishti is relieved n she performed the Arti n welcome.
Rajvansh n Soni families meet n greet n share their woes. Nidhi blurts out how Soni family lost their son 3 month back ., both families put their sorrows aside . Kuhu escorts beautifully decked up Ketu to the hall n both families seat Ketu Varun together n complete Chandlo matli rasam .Mishti nervously is seen drinking water , .Varun gets an bout of cough And all ask Mishti to get the jug of water to Varun . Mishti in a a state of hurry n panic hits the jug on Varun’s forehead , he is badly hurt .
