I had been thinking to include the chorus but there aren't a lot of scenes which fit the multiple times the lyrics say "Laagi na choote". It will probably just be filled with Humma humma and the kamarbandh scene.

Also, I want express my disappointment that no one really noticed the scenes I put for the line "Manzilein jod doon" so isliye I am stressing on that because when I decided to add that, the VM changed from being a passionate VM to trying to express Kunal's side of the KuKu story. I'm sad that nobody noticed that. Should I write a caption explaining the whole thing??

I did notice that!!! I'm sorry I didn't mention it though 😒 I really like how "manzilein jod doon" aligned well with Kuhu clasping her hands together, and Kunal's expression right after he sees her. I just didn't mention it because all of the scenes seemed so well timed with the lyrics. But if that detail is important to you, you should definitely highlight it in the caption.

And you're probably right about the "laagi na choote" part. I'm just a sucker for passionate KuKu 😂

@Meera: I'm just being a cry baby looking for validation. When you've been obsessed with something for 3days, I guess you tend to do that. All I need now is to get the song out of my head.

Yes! The nuances that Ritvik brought to Kunal with so little help from actual dialogue was truly amazing. Kunal never saw the wife/bahu Kuhu coming and she always caught him by surprise with her poise and sensitivity. As we have discussed, Kuhu also knew from very early on that it wasn't lack of feelings but circumstances that kept tearing them apart.

This might be incredibly conceited but since I am making the VMs I want to see, with scenes that have infinite rewatch value, on songs that never get old to me, I find myself watching my own VMs over and over, along with others that I love. 🤣 Basically, Sam the VM creator exists only to please Sam the VM watcher, and somehow watching the complete product feels so different from examining it while editing.

I did notice that bit, and I like how you interpreted it and used Kuhu's gesture on that exact word. Kunal kept trying to resign himself to their fate of separation but Kuhu wouldn't have it and fought back with love every time.

Good news! I finally figured out a way to get the True Colours VM to stay up with slightly compromised audio. 😃 I hope it sticks this time!

I think she got the hang the 'circumstances tearing them apart' thing in the long run but when I was watching the cheater Kunal episodes yesterday, I realised that after Kunal told her that he will never love her after coming back from the restaurant, she decided that she would stay in this marriage for the family. The feelings arose again when the nok jhoks began again and Kunal called for timeout. He again broke her hope ka bubble when he handed her the divorce papers.

So lucky! I wish I could keep watching my own creation over and over again but the music has just become a little too much for me. It's not like I don't like the song anymore but the song feels like an alarm ringtone for now. I'm pretty sure I'll get back to loving it in some time but it's too annoying right now.

I don't know why that line became so important to me. It was probably because it completely changed the whole idea behind making the VM. I had thought of 2 ideas for that particular line: 1. Kuhu confessing her love for Kunal and inadvertently joining their destinies and 2. Kuhu helping out Kunal reach his destination i.e. family. I couldn't remember a scene with Abir that had the shots I would've wanted and that's the only reason Kunal's Nanko Avatar is missing.

I am so happy that you found a way to share the VM with audio. I can't imagine the amount of motivation it must have taken to ruin perfect audio. But koi nahi. Kuchh nahi se kuchh behtar hota hai.

Once y'all become comfortable enough, let me know if you ever are open to taking song requests for VMs! I have so many ideas for VMs, but not the means to actually execute them.

@green: Even then, she was able to put two and two together. Whenever Kunal thought his relationship with Abir was on the mend, he was back to the sweet, simple guy Kuhu knew and fell in love with. Whenever Abir cast him aside for Mishti, it would have a direct impact on his behaviour with Kuhu and everyone around him really. Like when he thought he was going on that ride with Abir, we got to see that precious "bye" but then Abir stood himI up, and he came back and asserted that he didn't love Kuhu. Same with navratri -- he asked for the timeout and was actually being proactive towards keeping his family together when Mehul went and fixed MA's rishta and BM and BP agreed to it! 🤬

There was a definite pattern there that Kuhu picked up on and I think that is why she tried to sabotage Abir and Mishti, and even Varsha helped. She was just trying to buy a little time for Kunal and therefore their relationship to stabilise. But she never got that time -- Mishti and Abir's relationship just kept forging ahead at breakneck speed, making Kunal more and more desperate in his attempts to separate them, protect his brother, and fulfill his mom's wishes, and giving him less and less time for his own feelings and desires.

I am sure you will be able to come back to watch the VM after sleeping on it. 😃 I love the way you conceptualised that line, and especially the version you chose! By becoming the glue that held his family together, she did join their destinies. Both of them are such family people that destiny and family are almost interchangeable in their story.

Yeah, the audio is not great on the VM now, but I'm glad I got to put it up in some sort of complete form. At least people can enjoy the concept if not the pristine version of the VM!

I am wide open, Meera! 😃 Like I said earlier, I am trying to keep them under a minute (so I don't spend all day doing this, which it is very tempting to do) so it would work perfectly if you had a verse or a part of a song in mind.

pihu, I noticed the "manzilein jod doon" part in your vm too🤗infact that part stands out & I think would be difficult to miss for anyone🤪

and also wanted to say that the transitions(is that what switching from 1 scene to another called?) seemed very smooth in your vm, so I could sense the 3 days hardwork that you would have put in❤️

also while re-watching the episodes I have noticed that Kuhu doesnt need much constant attention from anyone

during the 2 times we got to see her bond with BM, 1st before KC- the night out scene & then during MA GD, when she handled everything in Mishti's absence😒 she was clearly more than happy for just the tiny miny love, attention & acknowledgement she got from BM and she enjoyed that instead of any begrudging on the injustice or any negative thoughts at all

maybe because she came to know about her birth truth in her childhood and since she was not right away accepted by maheshwaris & at that tender age she had to earn everybody's love & acceptance so she is used to working & proving herself worthy of love before being accepted & loved and so is also used to settle for less💔

and this adds to the list of my reasons why she tolerates so much injustice served both by kunal & maheshwaris🤢

to me she is like that unsung hero❤️ who made so many sacrifices but was always forgotten when it mattered🥺

on side note: kaveri & ritvik both did live session yesterday, did anyone get a chance to watch, any good questions asked & answered?
