I find Kuhu and her Kuhuness to be very very awsum. She just adds spark. But the major problem is she is not able to recognize and understand people easily. I agree that Mishthi gets more importance and love than Kuhu. Who will like it that their own family doesn't show much affection in comparison to others as Mishthi has always been given much care and love than Kuhu.
Kuhu is someone who is not bad at heart. Its just that she wants like Mishti she too should be praised. Like nanu praised Mishti and called her special bahu, Kuhu felt bad and Abir could sense it. I felt bad for Kuhu there. Mishti wasn't even married yet and labeled as special bahu while Kuhu who already is/was a bahu was not even given credit for anything. Yes there is lack of communication between the two sisters and also Mishti should learn to respect others privacy rather than trying to know the matter hidden in envelope.
PS. I am a silent newbie and have reading the posts since many days
Like all other characters in the show, Kuhu has own strengths and she has her own flaws. When the show started they mixed her strengths - like positivity, caring for family, being bubbly and happy-go-lucky nature with her weaknesses - mainly her insecurities related to Mishti and her reactions to being sidelined by Mishti like bullying, taunts
As the show progressed, we have seen both these sides of her personality turn by turn
post leap, she was the sanest of all - her strengths came out very well - because her focus was on herself, and mishti was busy with her own life
And now again, when Kuhu & Mishti are in the same space, her insecurities are back - Meenu & Jas are fuelling them further and we see her negative side more. But as you said, she is not bad at heart, so hopefully, we will see her learning from her mistakes and now with Abir & maybe Kunal too, in her life she may actually resolve her issues.
This is the same girl who said "Life waisi hi ban jaati hai jaisa hum use banate hain". Hopefully, someone will help her realise that as well.
PS: I am also mostly a silent reader, but felt like responding since I like people who are neutral and like to understand both positives and negatives of a character.
