Is anyone else upset with the lack of KuKu scenes and progress in their storyline. I get that the focus is to get Mishbir together, but do KuKu really have to be completely sidelined? After the scene where Kuhu told Kunal to mark all the calendar days, I thought finally their story will move forward, but no. Its like KuKu are only their to be used for Mishbir, whether its to separate them or bring them together. I really hope that any future storyline KuKu get is not revolved ariund MishBir.

Hey! This story has almost always used KuKu to serve the leads. So, sadly, one needs to enjoy whatever KuKu scenes they get here and there

I look at this show's opening episode as a summary of the story. MA on top of the bus. Unaware of anyone having a gala time. Poor kunal running after bhai at instructions from mum. Kuhu in the safety of bus, enjoying kunal... poor ketaki can fend for herself!

I guess, but the show was introduced as having two lead couples so that should be maintained. I mean there have been shows with two couple leads but never did any of the storyline was only to cause problems for the other couple.

They are supporting characters/parallel leads even though it has been mentioned in interviews that they are also the lead couple. Hoping for more KuKu scenes tomorrow according to bts and sbas segments.

Yeah but those scenes are also going to just revolve around MishBir.

Count me in. Wish there was a progress on their story. None of the precap or promos ever mention them. Sad.

Count me in .I have no hopes that they would concentrate on them . The focus is more on idiotic characters like Nishant

At this point, I just consider it part of their story. Kuhu said something similar herself at some point, whenever their relationship actually moves in any direction, either/both of them are sucked into some drama or the other -- mostly revolving around their sibligs' turbulent relationship -- and their relationship progress is put on hold. It's happened again and again from the beginning (I won't go into examples here, but happy to talk more if anyone's interested).

In the two months that Mishti was away, Kuhu managed to get the divorce underway, sort out her future plans, and start her business, because she had the time, space, and support to do so. As soon as Mishti came back, so did the drama -- NishMish attack, Meenu showing up at the offisite, Mishti disappearing in the jungle, Kunal spiking the drink, Mishti revealing his birth truth and now, this rushed marriage where she sees her cousin throwing himself into a loveless relationship. She has a connection with every, single person in this complicated situation and she's trying to be there for all of them -- so where is the time to think about her own situation?

Similarly with Kunal, Meenu tells him, if you don't spike the drink, it means you don't care about your family and we're not your priority. Abir says, now that you did this you don't deserve to be my Nanko. Now on top of that, Parul says, I don't want to call you my son. Kunal is so busy running around, proving to every member in his family that he "deserves" their love, and that they are his priority, that he has absolutely no bandwidth to think about what he wants for himself.

I would love it if these two would just say chuck it, and focus on their own problems, but the characterisation is convincing enough that I can see why they won't do that. So we must be patient with our two dunces who tend to put their own feelings lowest on the priority list.

Exactly that... This is how they are. It is, however, very heartwarming to see how rest of the family is naturally carrying their marriage for them. Varsha on Kuhu's side and most of the RVs on Kunal's side. I mean, aside from Varsha, no one really even cares what's going on with the two of them. This is how immersed in the family they are meant to be - no one has noticed the wrinkles in their marriage (the family has a travel and holiday business... no one even offered them a honeymoon?!! 😲). Kuhu and I are glad no one cares... They are able to fly under the radar. Imagine if they had everyone's attention, there would be so many questions that they would have no answers to. Their stakes are lower - Thank God for that

So yes, like you said, this is part of their story. Not being together is how they will proceed further. It actually excites me. They got their mel milap without asking for one. Its very organic in the way their relationship has developed lately. Poor Kunal is hanging by that calendar 💔
