Mehul probably had married Meenu before fixing alliance with Parul. Then he would have been obliged to marry Parul by the village community. Got parul pregnant. Then to manage his marriage in rajkot he had to make bahana that he got a job in rajkot with Rajvansh travels. then didn't return because he got caught with the RV travels money fraud with Meenu. So parul went out searching and found Meenu etc..
