Being one of the people who were excited about Kuhu and KuKu because I thought they were different, I am quite disappointed with the trajectory of Kuhu's character development and the progress of KuKu's relationship. 🥱I suppose I should have expected this considering how Rajan Shahi and his team of writers is unable to do justice to any characters apart from the leads on the parent show YRKKH but alas! hope springs eternal.
I never expected the Kuhu I saw in the initial stages of the show to completely lack self-respect when it comes to Kunal. I had thought she would be the one to put him in his place. Even after hearing the truth from Kunal about their marriage, she continues to act like a lovesick puppy around him. I don't expect her to stop 'loving' him but she can at least do a better job of hiding it.
Bekhudi is such a lovely song but it loses its meaning when Kuhu goes into dreamland when Kunal does something halfway decent like holding her hand in today's episode. I want Kuhu to realise that any time Kunal has been nice to her has only been for himself or his family. When Kunal has seen no 'reason' to be nice to her, he has been a monster. 🤢
Kunal has no respect for Kuhu whatsoever because he sees her as 'desperate' (in his own words). He doesn't fear losing her or her affection which is why he continues to mistreat her and concoct plans with his lawyer to break up their marriage. He is the nastiest towards her because he is not held accountable for his behaviour. Frankly, he is abusive.
I would like to see Kuhu reject Kunal for real and walk out of this marriage. Since it's a show, we know they have to be together so Kunal should have to bend backwards to regain her affections. I also don't want Kuhu to sacrifice her relationship with Mishti at the altar of Kunal's ego. I hate that the writers made her push Mishti on Janmashtami. Mishti could have died; it was unforgivable. Don't know why the CVs did this to Kuhu's character.
I want Kuhu to understand that Kunal and Meenakshi's demand of separating MishBir is unreasonable and redeem herself by uniting them. Kunal is a man-child who has a long way to go before he deserves anything good and Kuhu should make him work for it.
