Abir’s Shaayari for Mishti today

I was expecting a cliched and trite proposal scene given how Abir was being forced into play acting a proposal by those two girls, but the actual shaayari turned out to be surprisingly sweet and poignant.

He managed to make it a nod to their journey and the friendship at the core of their relationship, and that is why Mishti ended up smiling despite herself.

Had to transcribe the lines today:

“Na jaan pehchaan thi, na koi mulaqat thi Lekin aap mein pehle se hi ek alag si baat thi.

Maasoom si lagi badi, jab woh duniya se lad gayi, ek roz baad mein, mujh pe bhi bigad gayi.

Na aapko khayaal tha, na mujh ko thi khabar, aapke bigadne se baat ban rahi thi magar.

Dil mera machal gaya, jaise chaand raat mein morni, Mere naseeb mein likhi hai, ek angry si chorni😂

Jaanta hoon kaanton bhare hain, raaste bhi aayenge, magar dosti ki hai humne, hum dosti nibhaayenge.

Kismaton ki mujh pe, yeh pehli meherbaani hai,

Ek shehzaadi jiska chashma hi uski nishaani hai.

Hoton pe hai hassi, aur aakhon mein paani hai,

Sun lo duniya waalon, yeh meri kahaani hai

Thank you for making this post.🤗

I always wanted someone to make a thread only for Abir's shayaris.

Don't know who is writing those shayaris, but all are so soothing, meaningful and situational based. To add that Shaheer's intense voice,it's like icing on the cake.

I have decided to use one one shayari everyday for my whatsapp status.😆

God bless you!! :D :d :d this shayari was all kinds of beautiful

Notice how he talks about Naseeb and kismat ki meherbaani when he talks about Mishti - shehzaadi. Beautifully portrayed the high regards he has for her.

This shaayari was a pleasant surprise. Was not expecting something like this. Abir ended up proposing friendship instead of a love proposal. This made the whole thing a lot more genuine considering the dynamics Abir and Mishti share right now.

Abir could have used this situation to express his feelings of love even if it would be considered as a pretense. But then that would end up being about him and his feelings. Instead he made it to be about both of them.

PS: I also liked how Abir was holding a bougainvillea flower for the scene; it was something different and simple.

The best part about the shayaris are they are so simple no heavy words yet so deep

The shaayaris are written by the dialogue writer - Divy Sharma. He’s written shaayaris in his previous shows also, so I’m guessing he enjoys writing shaayaris a lot. Lol

What I like about the Abir shaayaris though are how they are used to express his thought process in a whimsical, free flowing manner. They don’t always follow a structure or theme. There is always some musing and some self-deprecation in there.

Thank you! :)

He definitely has high regard for Mishti and he expressed that quite beautifully with his choice of words. I really liked that he referenced the chashma as her identity again and Mishti was touched by that memory of him bringing her a new chashma the other day :)

The very fact that he chose to highlight the friendship rather than a flowery declaration of love made it seem more genuine, more earnest. Abir and Mishti are at their best when they are talking to each other directly rather than jumping around in random dance sequences. The Badtameez dil sequence was just weird 😕😆.

Abir could have used this situation to express his feelings of love even if it would be considered as a pretense. But then that would end up being about him and his feelings. Instead he made it to be about both of them. Exactly! That is what made it sweet. He made it about both of them. Kind of like that heart they painted together on the wall. Both colors equal in quantity as they filled the heart.

PS: I also liked how Abir was holding a bougainvillea flower for the scene; it was something different and simple. Yep that simple flower deffo added to the simplicity too :)

I still wish they would show better/more substantial conversations between Abir and Mishti regarding his past and his dad. But it’s always kept brief and somewhat superficial. The writing seems to struggle to rise to the potential there. Ah well. It’s still amazing that AM manage to have some poignancy to them despite how shallow the writing is otherwise. Lol

Yep, I agree. As one of my fav characters once said, “Simplicity mein hi sundarta hai”😆
