There must be a lot of reasons but you've to just point out one.
Personally I think the background music Dheere Dheere was pretty catchy and the neutral audience was drawn to it after the promos.

And ofcourse the leads were attractive ,its a spin off it might have got the YRKKH audience ,they did play a crucial role in its success.

But what do you think was the " key " to audiences heart ?
I think it was the BGM Dheere Dheere.

I kinda agree..

The background music is loved by the audience a lot. Look at the views Dheere Dheere Promo has got. I can just imagine how it would be if the release the entire song on the leads. It is really a very beautiful background music 😳 😳 😳
P.s I guess there is a song sequence for which Abhir and Mishti have already shot a long time back. But it is yet not aired.

Also agree with the second point. The leads are attractive and eye candies. The supporting characters are good as of now
People are fed up with Nagin's, Dayan's, Baby swaps, OTT dramas...
There are such limited options for us Indian TV audience when it comes to these TV shows. Yes, the Onlie Streaming services are changing the game for sure.

In my opinion the initial promos , the rap song sung by Badshah and the unique ML characterization ,being Rajan Shahi's show might have caught people's attention.

Interesting thread.

My opinion is something different, the way or the issues girl faces with marriage, when all are happy, she isn't ready for it...it was something fresh than the typical lead scenes of catch fall.

I think the main reason is that it caters for all tastes
the things which would be liked by trp audiense:
Kokila modi type saas
grand melodramatic families
wedding dramas and celebrations, functions...
religious stuff
a few irritating characters
and more... (cant recall right now)

the things which would be liked by online audiense:
two hot brothers and cool nanu
goodlooking lead pair
the female lead is not a bechari type character
the male lead is the Total Package
good music
positive and modern atmosfer
a different approach to the concept of arranged marriage
even though it has kokila but her being modern kinda makes her less annoying
and more... (cant count all right now)

All of the above and loyal YRKKH fandom and some credit should be given to Mr. Dev Dixit too, Shaheer's previous character which was like 50 shades of grey and Abeer looks like a part of him.
Rest do not know as there are too many characters.

I feel it is going to be

old vs young
Modern vs tradition
Beliefs

to me Sharica was more than perfect, time will tell how it is going to shape up.

Then trps can do anything !!

I used watch to Isaqbaaz and left long back, however, wanted to watch end so continued watching this as well for almost 1 week, now just watches shaheer scenes here anf there...
Needs to know how ratings will sustain in upcoming weeks as most serials in other channels are NOT doing well. Ratings are under par as compared to before tria implementation.

The show feels super fresh compared to your usual rona dhona. Although there's conflicts, it's carried out in a way that's interesting and unique. For example, Big Ben's manipulation of Ketki. That kind of behavior are seen SO MANY TIME in ITV but when it happened in this show, even I was like yeah okay of course I'll do what you say. It felt relatable to say the least. And as someone mentioned it, Minakshi's character has an interesting twist where it's equal parts modern and traditional mixed.

Also would like to add for the sake of media attention or marketing the show, leads are not projected as " the perfect pairs" both the first set of pairing and the second one.
Yes it looks like there lots of expectations from this show as i saw a BTS where one of the leads telling that there is lot of responsibility and the stress maybe on trps since the original is running from the 10 years. it is like a brand now.

I would say the remarkable script that would be preferred by any state of people in India could relate to is the key to it's trp..the confidence in this venture was because of the first season of YRKKLH...that show though not my cup of tea was splendid..the good thing about this triseries is the positivity and good over bad always..they deal with simple problems and a clean way of handling them ...
And to say saheer is the reason I watched it..this actor never failed me in his choices.
