TRP Audience isn't attached to actors much For few days some will feel it then they'll accept it n move on Like in SNS gia was replaced by devoleena Only for 1-2 episodes I felt the difference but soon accepted New Gopi n later I kinda forgot that there was Gopi1.0 Even after Rashi's death the show went on for many years Both Female leads who were since day 1 were not there still it continued with good TRP's

Even in Balika Vadhu which was more TRP hit n famous than Anupama Anandi was played by Pratyusha n later Toral For some episodes it felt weird but later it was back to normal At the end both were Anandi n their character as such didn't change much Only face changed n it ran for long time even with Main Lead actress replaced

If Balika Vadhu n SNS can continue despite Anandi n Gopi being replaced then so can Anupama

Note : I am not comparing the characters Only the situation of Main Leads Anandi can never be compared to Anupama that's an insult to Anandi

yes but the character of anandi remained.. in many shows actors are replaced .and viewers accepted the new actors happily..because the character remained...Same here in Gen 4 rista ..armaan was replaced. But in anupama its a different scenario. We're not talking of replacing rupali with another actress playing anupama..we're talking of the story moving away from anupama..like anupama dying and the story moving onto a different character..that may not work as viewers are watching the show to see anupama..aka rupali..we know her story is exhausted..and dkp did try moving the story onto raahi and prem but that didn't seem to work and he shifted it back to anupama..and show is no. 1 again.

But I heard that the Character of Raahi was not that good n irritating n Anupama was mostly important in next gen story as well n both the actors playing Raahi1.0/2.0 Prem are not that good with hardly any chemistry n also I think they changed the name I saw in X app in childhood she was called Choti Anu or something if they continued with same name like they did with Imlie it might have created that connection along with fbs of childhood with elder Anupama The next gen leads in Anupama didn't really have much individual story separate from Anupama So can't really say if they didn't work or the poor writing didn't let them grow

Even this gen4 didn't get TRP it hit the lowest though Ak was alive for almost a month or more Only since Ak's death n Ab-Ar's forced deal marriage TRP's increased above 2 Only after Ak died it worked If Anupama died completely maybe even the next gen might have worked

This was bound to happen. The casting call made it obvious. Don’t believe any theories on the forum or social media. They are a waste of time.
