Akshu was the only FL who wasn't cliffed before ML. Akshara and Naira were cliffed before Naitik and Kartik. There are 99% chances of Maira being the legacy FL if they continue with Gen 5 because of the kind of life they have given her, maybe that 1% dominates over 99% in future.

Infact while writing a story, it's important to not have ekdum goody goody main characters as they don't need any fixing. Usually in storytelling, when we write, there is a problem, as in basically some flaw that needs fixing, and a plot that is designed to change your main character in terms of growth, learning things about themselves. May be because Abhinav was never the lead, he was one of the protagonist may be or , an important supporting character but not lead. The main characters of the previous generation were always Akshara and Abhimanyu and the show was centred around them, and both of them did show some character growth, even though I am not fond of Akshara much because I just couldn't understand her.

Ya ya, i do agree Muskaan being Akshara's friend would have made more sense than a complete stranger helping her. But some people do have a helping nature and are good Samaritan.

We both are not going to change our opinions about whom we like and dislike and we don't have to, but i would like to tell my perspective. It's not because of the actor that I like Abhinav, it's because of the character. Anyone playing Abhinav, i would have liked, because the character is such. Don't misunderstand me,, I do get what you are saying but I m just trying to show you a different perspectives. Example you called him “just there mutely supporting her vengeful nature.” But for me, I saw a man who was emotionally safe. He didn’t have to shout to be heard. He wasn't volatile, he was non judgemental and trusted his wife 's choices without imposing his own.

I have anxiety, and loud noises scare me, a safe environment where there is no volatility is very important for me. It's all about perspective . May be a quality that is very important to you, Abhimanyu must be having which is why you prefer him, like I prefer Abhinav because of no volatiliy and supportive nature.

Not everyone grows through confrontation. Some people grow when they feel safe. And Abhinav was that safe space for Akshara. She has her good points, but was very impulsive, and righteous, would always poke her nose in other's matter. I prefer her daughter Abhira, she is a much better person but she is too gone in love, she doesn't understand the concept of disrespect.

Even I m looking forward to Anshuman, i am already liking him. But of course my opinion about him might change depending upon his actions and plot. Thanks for taking out time to write all this. It shows a different perspective as somewhere I too felt most of Abhimanyu fans dislike Abhinav only because the leads didn't end up together.

@krinya - tagged you here as most of what i wanted to reply to your comment is written here and I didn't want to repeat, i hope that's okay? Like you, I also liked Abhinav but I don't think Abhira will move on.

@bold Hahaha no, I don’t like him because he wasn’t executed properly as a character. Four people randomly show up and say “oh, he’s a good guy,” but there’s no solid scene to back it up. One character one day shows up saying, “I’m a good person,” but he’s never shown helping anyone other than a pregnant, beautiful woman.

Same episode He was portrayed as someone who judged a girl for not wanting a family. Later He acted like he had the right to choose the baby over the mother, instead of calling her family. And please, don’t use the excuse that “it was Akshara’s call."

So yeah, back to square one. I don’t like how this character was executed. Honestly, Abhimanyu’s stethoscope had more character development than this guy. So it is not because his was without flaws and not believe it was bland and poorly executed. Like i said a rough draft of a character. I was looking forward to his growth initially only to be completely disappointed.

I’m sorry, but everything you’re describing is based on assumptions. It’s all about that “6 saal Kasauli happy happy wow” narrative. But who actually saw that? It’s a show—I’ll only believe what’s actually shown.

I’m a third-party viewer. I’ll look at what Manish did.What Kairav did What Abhinav did and What everyone did under what circumstances. I’ll watch all of that and then form my point of view—I can’t look at things through a single lens.

However, it seems all the discussion(read para writing) didn’t really make a difference—we're still building hype based on assumptions and jumping to the same old ‘oh, so you don’t like him’ conclusion.

Yeah lets see what they have in store for this new CAMEO. So far i am happy they are atleast working on his character and script.

KP acknowledged that she made wrong decisions in her life on her birthday in conversation with Abhira, she told her that she is nobody to judge a mother as she has been a bad mother herself but those were mere words, her pride won't let her apologize, there is still no remorse for her past actions and what she did with Shivani. If she apologized to Armaan and Shivani maybe Armaan's heart and mind would be at peace instead of dwelling in past, being restless and anxious.

@bold - The same Kaveri insulted Abhira that she will never be a good mother because she will not experience pregnancy and child birth (completely forgetting that Abhira already went through everything first time around) when Abhira wore a fake baby bump just few episodes back she said this

I really don't think they will ever show Kaveri apologizing for anything neither to Armaan nor Abhira.

Yes we don't know what has happened in those six years in kasauli, so obviously will go with the narrative flow of what was shown. All the Discussion made a difference or not, depends upon what you were expecting from it. I thought when we discuss and tell our point, it's not to change somebody's opinion and make them agree but simply to show your perspective.

And Yes, back to square one perhaps. But that’s the beauty of it that we all can see the same story, and interpret and feel it differently. My point was simply that Abhinav was meant to be a supportive, quiet anchor in Akshara's life. May be that’s how his character was designed - steady, reliable, grounding presence. That doesn't mean his character wasn't executed properly though I agree that maybe his arc wasn’t as fleshed out as you expected.

Yes, regarding Anshuman i think they are sketching a good arc but need to see what happens in future. I don't mind if Abhira moves on , but i doubt she will ever.

@bold but was he. What role did he actually play except being a liability for her. If it wasn't for Abhimanyu she wasn't been able to give exams let alone be independent. While Abhinav left her in shit tons of debt it was Abhimanyu who cleared it and even pushed her to get a job.

And job se yaad aaya phir bhi Abhira k liye kuch nahi chod gayi 😭 and shaadi karwayi bhi toh kisse Ruhi k ex se. Usse jyada ache se toh Yuvraj bhai rakhte Abhira ko. Ache decision leti toh aj Abhira ko yeh din nahi dekhna padhtaaa 😂
