TRP viewers didn't give makers a reason to make Abhira a Birla instead of Sharma. TRP drastically fell from 2.3 to 1.6 within weeks, after Abhinav Sharma's exit. The lead couple Abhimanyu and Akshara couldn't sustain it even when writers wanted to reunite them.

That was the most embarrassing part, how trp left with ABhinav. The so-called leads couldn't save the sinking ship. The next time Trp surged was after Abhimaan's marriage, when Abhira was in full form. Guess, Trp audience were more interested in ABhira-Poddar dynamics rather than watching ManRa reunite
