Huh ? smiley29 I’m the topic maker, so what should I comprehend properly ?

I mean why are you assuming that someone can even fight in this thread for a fictional character. This thread is more about supporting the materialistic and capitalistic idea of surrogacy than about the serial. The names of the characters are just sticked here and there for formality.

I know expecting logic from Shahi is expecting for a freaking blue moon but still what the hell are they even thinking smiley26

Do they even know the surrogate mother has ABSOLUTELY no right over the baby ? She cannot even meet the baby after she has handed over the kid without the parent’s consent. They don’t even have the option to refuse, actually uska zikar bhi kiya toh a fierce legal battle will ensue. She has to hand over the child to the parents, and unless the commissioning parents are proven to be drug addicts/ involved in substance abuse/child trafficking/ history-sheeter there’s no way the court will rule in favour of the surrogate mother, but for the above cases, surrogacy won’t even be an option because parents are thoroughly screened before they start the process.
Unless the surrogate mother proves that’s there something shady going on, in which case the child will released for adoption and not handed over to the surrogate mother smiley12

Surrogate mother also has to apply through legal channels for adopting the baby herself & she’ll be subjected to the same screening like for a normal couple intending to adopt. Aise hi haath mein nahi tama denge.

The mother who is going to be surrogate should be more than 25 and within 35, and should have a child herself smiley44 Ruhi doesn’t satisfy that criteria.

And rishta is not unique even in this aspect smiley24 this happened in Ghum before and it was none the better.

Just because you wanna run your stupid AF show please don’t make a mockery of a sensitive topic such as surrogacy. smiley7

They will say all these are writers liberty. Changing father's name in bc was a writers liberty last gen , now it can be changing both parents or Changing mother .. they won't care...

Wait, you commented on a thread I made saying the thread maker’s philosophy is bakwaas — who’s fighting with whom here, pls clarify.

@b: materialistic ? Capitalist ? Kehna kya chahte hain aap ? My rant was about surrogacy taken so lightly.
for the record, surrogate mother doesn’t get any compensation for carrying the child, she gets only insurance and medical expenses. Doesn’t mean she is entitled to keep the kid herself.

Writer’s liberty ka yeh matlab nahi they can wire anything…drama ke liye bohot cheezen available hai, uspe karein— this is not needed.

My grief is with the makers, not with the characters exactly. When everyone has faults how do you support one person ?

Rishta makers have always pulled bullshits in the name of creative liberty. Your rant on surrogacy is justified but that’s not gonna stop them anyway! A baby born in 7th month is supposed to be in a hospital facility in neonatal intensive care, inside an incubator be it India or America or Antarctica! They cannot survive outside as they cannot breathe. Rishta in the name of creative liberty showed a Cameo PL holding him in hand for 4 days and glorified it as the best care! Like whatever it meant! Every generation women in ristaversa has difficulty conceiving, but guess what Rishta FLs magically conceive and take their legacy forward! In the end, logic dies in the name of creative liberty.
