This true though, had Abhira not been so forgiving and actually retained some of her orginal characteristics, Abhimaan wouldn't even have been together after that License kaand

She was "understanding" and "forgiving" in her own matter with Armaan when he apologized. She is applying the same logic with Vidya when the latter has come with an apology

Armaan wouldn't even have ever met his mother or found out about years of lies, had it not been due to the same caring nature of Abhira.

Not comparing Both character, because honestly even at his worse Armaan is more acceptable.

Just how Abhira is perceiving the situation.

She was willing to give another chance to Armaan, she is doing the same with Vidya.

She has done similar thing with all other character in past.

This logic may not apply because Armaan is not half as vile as Vidya is and has loved her far more unconditionally than either Poddars or her so called family, Goenkas. His is the second closest to the kind of love she experienced with Akshu. Abhira had every right to be upset and even not forgive Armaan if she didn’t want to but she did because she knows what all of us do, the Poddars tend to bring out the worst in him (courtesy his issues) and whilst he did not get an elaborate redemption track, he atleast owned up to all of his faults and genuinely apologised and has been trying to do better ever since (bare minimum, ik but it’s rishta). If Vidya had even shown 1% genuine regret and guilt over what she did to Abhira and Armaan, then maybe the sympathy factor would have been digestible but she hasn’t, so it’s feeling all the more awful. The difference that has everyone upset is that Armaan deserves her kindness and a chance to make it up to her whereas characters like Vidya, Kaveri, Ruhi, etc don’t.

This makes complete sense. It took less than 2 years for the Poddar family and their environment to break a strong, confident and independant woman and mould her into something else altogether. Armaan has lived with them for 30 odd years under constant pressure, fear and anxiety, he needs time to break the cycle and stop reacting to things based on his past baggage and way of life.

We as audience have seen Armaan trying to make up first for the license kand and then tell Vidya off for character assassinating Abhira.

So we know he has been trying for long to make it up to her. But Abhira doesn't. Just like she is not aware of all the various selfish and obsessive reasons that Vidya has to now try to get a reconciliation

From Abhira s perspective, She got an apology from Armaan. She gave him a chance to say his peace after all those false accusations, license cancellation, and betrayal. Etc

So it's understandable that after Vidya asked for a chance to apologize, she would want to extend the same courtesy to her as well.

Maybe not to forgive, but to at least listen.

She is trying to be fair to a person who according to her is trying to make it up for her mistake. At the same time trying to do justice to both hrt husband and MIL s trauma.

Ofcourse Armaan is not half as Vile as Vidya. I was not comparing them at all

I was trying to highlight Abhira s perspective

That gif reminds me of Charu and Krish boxing the punching bag together. I think they were discussing how Krish should focus on his career and pyaar is a stupid waste of time. smiley36

If Akshara Singhania can find her widower father-in-law a companion, why can’t Abhira at least think that maybe Shivani needs one too ..after a lifetime of betrayal and loneliness…would be such an improvement on this subplot trevolving around selfish and self-absorbed Abhir’s love life …

Armaan-Abhira-Shivani...All 3 of them need time to breakfree the toxicity that has swallowed them all thanks to vile poo-dars which is totally understandable. But they have to start from somewhere. Specially abhira and shivani. Armaan is trying atleast.

🟢Armaan should build up his own identity independent from poo-dars. 🟢Abhira should reconnect with her bold, fierce, IDGF self who never took crap from anyone. 🟢Shivani should become strong enough to not to let go of either her son or DIL fearing anyone.
