Secondly I don’t think a comparison is being made between Armaan and RK ..it is solely about Shivani ..if Armaan cannot give Shivani the kind of respect and undivided love and time that she deserves, then she is likely better off with RK ..this is what I said and I stand by it ..Shivani has suffered enough in life ..she need not witness her son, whose loss literally drove her to madness, being torn apart between loving her and loving the woman, who was party to Armaan being alienated from her …Shivani deserves better and if RK can give her the love and devotion of a son without feeling conflicted, I would say she deserves to be with him ..

If you notice, I clearly said if he cannot ..which means if he can’t do this going forward …not that he is not doing it now ..so no, I am not judging him on the basis of the present episodes ..the two of them have literally had one scene together …so where is the basis for making a judgment

My point was just based on the fact that both Shivani & Armaan are strangers to each other, so Armaan thinking of Vidya while doing anything for Shivani is more of a unconscious reaction than a thought out choice. I feel he truly wants to hate Vidya but is unable to do so & that is making him feel guilty towards Shivani. I drew this conclusion based on the BTS and what I observed before as well, when I said that he will be conflicted, despite Vidya being a horrible human being. So that is why I understand where he comes from, even if he ideally should not bother about his step mom, especially after everything she has done with him & his birth mother.

Also I feel even Shivani understands that and wants to slowly help Armaan transition from that awful conditioning to actually embracing her love, which is what will help him come out of the guilt ge is currently feeling.
