Armaan never forced her to initially marry Rohit. She did it by her own, just to be close to Armaan. Armaan was properly bashed when he gave Ruhi continues hope after Rohit's assumed death and everything was disclosed to Abhira by Kaveri before they properly moved on... Whereas Rohit is still unaware of Ruhi's that dark past harkat.
