New mothers are so sleep deprived that most of them could only think of getting a quick nap, bathing and combing hair . My mil didn't let me wash my hair before feeding and if I had a head wash I had to dry my hair ASAP using a hair drier because baby can catch cold.

I completely get that she was raised by a single mother so maybe she does think families do this where they look after the baby while mother does as she wants. But when she saw that didn't happen, she took her child outside in a stuffy courtroom, and then came home and asked her mil to take care of baby so she can go back to work. Even if she did think that's what is done, she had no moment of introspection even after the whole drama that maybe that's not how it works. And even at home, she snatched the baby and started raising her voice. Parents try to not even fight in front of kids because of the influence, here she is repeatedly raising her voice near a new born baby.

This whole lets make elders of the house free nanny makes no sense. They parented their kids, who they decided to birth, why are they honor bound to look after yours?

this is all zidd i am right attitude always not bending to anyone like her mother. When family is not cooperative she is blaming them openly. She has no habit to listen to others.
