1. All things said, he still conducted an emotional affair with Ruhi. Both of their partners should never have accepted them as this is red flag behaviour.
2. He had the option to send anyone else- perhaps Manish Goenka. No Ruhi, is not given a free pass to a Tantrik. Her actions were wrong. The hypocrisy being called out is Ruhi being called a bad mom for driving while pregnant and having an accident- driving is not risky and accidents are unplanned. Yet Abhira's action of proceeding with a high-risk pregnancy without the approval of her husband is not defined as being a bad mom. Going through a high-risk pregnancy is no joke and can be damaging for your fertility. There is also the risks of birth defects. The other alternative is a baby growing up without a mum. There are other alternatives like adoption etc. It was not a do or die situation. Abhira is equally wrong.
3. This post is not directed at you. There were so many Abhimaan fans who were defensive and saying Armaan is not wrong as he was manipulated or attempted to reduce his role in this crime. Some can't even seem to accept any criticism on Armaan- they are asking people why Armaan is being bashed.The worst response were those who switched over to Ruhi's past wrongs to cover up Armaan's crime or those who out rightly labelled people who criticized Armaan as Ruhi lovers and even made implicit comments on posters' characters for criticizing Armaan. The last point was what triggered me to make this post.
You have your personal perception of Ruhi. But one thing, let's not forget Ruhi and Armaan are currently at the same level with their actions. If Ruhi needs to show remorse, Armaan needs to do so equally or even more so because he is the supposed ML.
A few points from my end
1. For that supposed emotional affair, both Abhira & Rohit punished their respective partners & the other person multiple times. Abhira initially refused to acknowledge Armaan and took her time to trust him again. Rohit was willing to almost divorce Ruhi before giving their relationship a chance again. While Armaan took his second chance to heart & never even thought of anyone other than Abhira, Ruhi was still emotionally cheating till she was forced to move on by Armaan only. Then after that also Ruhi chose to keep all that a secret rather than come clean with Rohit.
2. Shaadi ke time pe Armaan was shown a video and asked not to tell anyone else Ruhi would do something to herself. He was caught at a time when he was alone & was tracked with a man who was communicating with Ruhi. Agar usne kisi se bhi kaha, aur uske chakkar main Ruhi apne aap ko kuch karti, then also he would have only been made responsible.
3. There is a difference between a high risk pregnancy & being rash with ones baby. Abhira knew the risks, discussed it with a doctor & then decided to go ahead with giving birth, making sure she took the required precautions. Many women choose to give birth in such high risk pregnancies - that doesn't make them a bad mom. Ruhi was pointed out because she was being reckless with not taking meds on time & driving in that precarious condition, especially with her past history with accidents.
I again reiterate - Armaan does deserve punishment for what he did, but Rohit has equal culpability in this situation. Just blaming Armaan is wrong. But I will point fingers at Ruhi coz even in the current situation, her behaviour towards a baby who is not at fault in anyway, is despicable, despite her apparent trauma & grief. Utna agar baby se related koi bhi cheez se associate nahi hona hai, toh say "No". Everytime they come to you, say no & just focus on your healing, rather than burn in jealousy that Abhira has a kid
