But please, let's not even compare Abhira's situation to theirs. Abhira is in a very fortunate situation where she works for her family's firm. She can take 6-12 months leave if she wants, but I can understand her giving importance to her career as well, but in no way I can understand leaving a week-born pre-mature baby and when she was also in a critical condition. This is not woman empowerment.

Again that depends on person to person. Women who are at higher positions know their rights, it's always lower class that suffers. I have seen many companies using loop holes to escape but happy that more and more people are being aware of their rights.
