she doesnt expect instant hruday parivartan of Kaveri.
She just wants prior status quo of just Kaveri acknowledging her as Armaans wife and ghar ki bahu . earlier also Kaveri didnt love her, but they had found a balance. she was decent, humane. Abhira is counting on Armaan being important enough for Kaveri that she will go back to tolerating Ab in the house for his sake.
Abhira doesnt want to live with the guilt of separating Armaan from his bio family which includes more than just Kaveri. Also the narrative is that Kaveri doesnt hate Armaan. she is harsher on him, only imposes responsibilities and tasks on him and pampers only Rohit amongst all grandkids but she still cared for him as a grandson. but him being with Ab has made her cruel to him
And no matter what the family have said/done which is unfair to Armaan, they are his bio family and those ties are strong. he loves them. he has lived in a joint family all his life from the time he can remember. so being blamed solely as a family wrecker who made him leave his family to be with her is not a nice tag. and she knows that Armaan is not gonna find it easy to live alone. when the dust settles, he is gonna crave being in that big house with all his family around him. she doesnt want him to suffer or regret.
She has tolerated a lot of insults but this one hits different and is something she is very emotional about. she herself has craved a family all her life and to feel like she is the reason her husband, her pyaar has now lost his family is not something she will feel good about
in her mind, she is the reason he is being subjected to excessive cruelty. and when thats sunaoed to her every frickin day- its bound to impact her a lot
its not like Armaan was the raja beta even before she entered the picture but things were definitely peaceful. he was the eldest, there were complicated dynamics because he was the son of a woman Kaveri didnt approve of, but he had his place in the house, he had come to terms with things. he had a close bond with his siblings, chachi/chacha etc even if his dad was absentee and Vidya genuinely does love him like a mom despite her biases. Abhira did notice the dynamics and called out Armaan getting differential treatment too but she also knows there is definitely a strong bond of love between Armaan and everyone in PH.
so Abhira hates that to be with her he has to lose something as precious as his family
har family mein kuch dynamics gadbad hote hai, everything is not hunky dory. and despite all flaws and issues, end of the day, family is what you count on. Armaan had that but now the boss of family hates him, is extra harsh on him only because of her and thats what she repeatedly says. so ofc Abhira is not gonna be thrilled about being the one to be held accountable for Armaan leaving his family behind.
