The way Armaan takes pride in facts like he us abhira's only and exclusive family..

It had undercurrents of possesiveness...

VO says Armaan thinks Abhira is kidnapped but she's in PH talking to Dadisa, he comes back to PH and is mad on Abhira but Dadi tells him that she asked her to stay back and not go to the temple and then accepts Abhira in front of everyone which shocks Armaan (maybe this is the pleasent shock Rohit was talking about)

This is a possibility, i mean, abhira dadi ki baat sunke rukh sakti hain armaan can be upset with her(if this is a prank). There was a spoiler that dadi gives abhira aashirvaad, toh hone ko yeh bhi ho sakta hain
