Akshara Maheshwari was overwhelmed. Seriously to see her successors go through pain generation after generation. It wasn't easy, to say the least
She looked on the big screen present in Heaven's hallway. It was installed to let the inhabitants keep an idea about their family in the mortal world. Or so they say
But it is more for gods and demigods to have their own "TV show". Their daily dose of entertainment
They have even segregated these daily viewings of various families to different channels and have named them. Can you imagine that? They call it "Daily Soap", which airs at a specific time slot
Her own family story has been named "Ye Rishta kya kehlata haa" and aired on Jalta Sitara at 9:30 PM.
They call it a legacy show. Whatever that is supposed to mean. It was infuriating and insensitive.
Akshara hated it. She and Naira have protested against it on various occasions. But no avail
Presently the heaven dwellers were enjoying the said legacy show.
Akshara looked at her great-granddaughter ABhira on-screen, battling yet another battle. Orchestrated by that EVIL Kaveria and her sidekick Sanjay
Akshara wanted to bubble-wrap Abhira. To cushion her and keep her close. To blast that devil of a family called Poddars. seriously, What sort of name is "Poddar" ?
She felt her granddaughter and her husband tense beside her as Abhira's card was being snatched away from her
Akshara looked at them with sympathy, sharing their pain.
Naira and Naitik were not available today or they would have again tried to blast off Poddars to titters.
The last time they tried to do it didn't do well resulting in a warning from Chitragupt.
They had to call an Army of demigods to hold them back
The "show' continued as viewers around her started to discuss about it
Some of them were upset with ABhira for being rude to Armaan. As if
While she necessarily didn't dislike her great grandson-in-law and appreciated all the progress the guy had made. She wasn't sure if that was enough.
Well, if she could Akshara would have advised them to take it slow. Communicate better.
If only they were allowed to communicate with the mortal world. Maybe she can try requesting chitragupt again .......
