EMA is a very wrong word to be used in context of Ab- Ar marriage where it was an agreed deal between both parties for a year where both parties said they will not have an haq on each other. But there is a sanctity even in deal shaadi though.

If Ab had dated or had flings while being married to him, would he have been cool with it?

I'm sure not.

Ruhi was flirting and openly propositioning him and he allowed it.

Infact if she had just had a male "friend" like Ruhi , he'd not have accepted it.

So why should Abhira? Yet she dealt with him having a bff like Ruhi who kept on speaking in her matters.

She asked him repeatedly and he kept lying saying "dost" hai Ruhi when she was always more than that. Why did he lie. Abhira would have accepted his truth if he told her.

She definitely feels like a fool now for reprimanding Ruhi for interfering when all along she was viewed as the barrier between Ar and Ru after Rohit disappeared.

He had 10 months to tell her about his past. Initially when they were newly married he didn't tell her- ok. Once he confessed love and they were on the verge of getting back- he avoided it not to spoil her mood. But there were 10 months in between where Ab kept asking and he just lied.

He can't go back in time and change it. But that lie that went on for so long will weigh heavily on Abhira. It is keeping her from running to Armaan. She wants more than anything to be with him. But the fact that he lied about this when he really didn't need to will make her pause.

She understood he had a past. She'd have been able to help him if he had come clean regarding Ruhi and helped him break free of his guilt to Ruhi . But now its messy. She feels like he's an indecisive man who cant decide who he loves and leads people on coz thats exactly what he has done.

The way he behaved with Ab did give her hope of something real. He called her wife haq seh and behaved like a husband and not a friend, was always touchy and in her space, didn't talk about divorcing her even after Ruhi brought it up .

She would have prepared herself, been guarded if he had been transparent with her from get go.

Ab ye ladki phas gayi hai na idhar ki rahi na udar ki. She needs one of the poddar to protect her warna phuphasa and dadisa jeene nahi denge so she found madhav. Ab armaan ke baad madhav is her security guard.

I think from abhiras reactions..it looks like she stopped regarding it as a deal marriage a long time ago..that’s why she’s so hurt. She’s behaving like a wife who was cheated.

even in a deal marriage after all his talk about her being important to him and clearly more than just a "deal" -she will feel cheated that he didn't trust her with such a big thing.

I think even if she never fell in love with him, she'd have felt very hurt about him hiding this from her if she found out.

Its obviously much more hurtful now because she loves him and he claims he loves her but has been having a weird relationship with his ex all this time.

She stopped calling it deal long time back. Only Ruhi kept saying it and Armaan didn't behave with Ab as if he was keen to end shaadi until the aftermath of deal shaadi reveal where he broke her heart and hopes.

She only agreed to dadi's shart after divorce papers were signed because it was about expedited divorce vs regular processing. So she went ahead with her condition

She would not have accepted dadi condition otherwise.

Until Armaan served her DP, called her a bojh she genuinely felt that he was interested in her as well and it was for good reason. He didn't give her any reason to believe that he was gonna end things.

When dp came up in mussoorie, he tore papers with finality. If he was anyway gonna end shaadi, he should have used the chance to discuss divorce in 3 months.
