c, till now all of Ar realizations/ flash backs are abt the good times he had with Ab.. He has not yet started realizing abt what he and his family did to her except for what Sanjay did.. Hopefully we will see that starting once deal revelation is out.. But the way he is coded and can take being insulted and his interests ignored by family as some kind of haq that family has on him for taking him in... Not everything that Ab/ we as audience find wrong, he will find as wrong atleast at this stage..

What is the point of his realization of feelings for Abhira if he doesnt reflect on things him and his family have put her though?!

Its quite silly if he thinks about confessing to her without considering that she doesnt fit into his family and if he is taking a stand for her and effectively for himself and for his own happiness, then he needs to make them accept her and not the other way around. coz she has already shown she cares deeply for his family but she shows that in her own ways. if they kill her soul, and he thinks she should accept it - then he might as well let her go for good.
