if he wants to confess his feelings for Abhira to Ruhi as soon as he realizes means even if he doesnt "love" her, he cares and respects her.

thats much more than Abhira got. Abhira ke liye "pyaar" is meaningless if he doesnt care, value and respect her.

He showed her dhongi concern always making her end up falling for him thinking its all real but in reality about all the important things he never shared with her. He has only lied. he keeps rudely asking her to not interfere etc.

He never told her about chitwaali even after they became friends, didnt come clean about past even when his shaadi with Ruhi was fixed and Abhira looked hurt- he didnt think he should be honest, he had previously lied that he was over his past. he repeatedly claimed that Ruhi was his "bff". he didnt care to be sensitive enough to Abhira to tell her the full truth about everything before announcing his decision to marry Ruhi as Abhira was leaving the home.

It seems like even after Abhira blurts out that she loves him, he will just go into a cocoon and avoid taking a stand. He will get ready to marry Ruhi while giving helpless and longing looks to Abhira.

We know he has no guts to talk about his love .. Abhira ke liye ek strong dose of bitter pill hai .. after the Ruhi Armaan .. marriage .. audience can switch off .. as they will not tolerate EMA ..
