Abhira should be grateful as her mother died taking a bullet which was meant for Arman. Abhira should be grateful for something as basic as food and a roof by Poddars. Seriously? Arman married Abhira so roof, food, and career support are all her basic needs & not some favours by Poddars to be grateful to them. Regarding her being rude to Rahu well Ruhi behaves like a delusional lover, Arman's puppet anyone can get irritated by her. Ruhi is a nobody for Abhira to mediate between Abhira and Arman. Being grateful for something as basic as food and shelter is behaving like gopi bahu which Abhira can never be. Arman decided to get married to her out of guilt she didn't beg to provide her shelter after her mother's death. Seeing her dead mother getting insulted by dadisa, mother who died saving Arman requires great patience not to retaliate.

It's understandable to feel frustrated when characters don't show gratitude, especially after a significant event like an accident. Hopefully, Abhira's character arc will develop in a way that addresses these concerns.

Her gifts when she got paid and when she was leaving home shown her gratitude.

And she literally chose to go back to her mother’s killer and her obsessive stalker- because Armaan’s mother was at risk- and the scene where he was thanking her after she told him thank you in clear words as his life changed coz of her- what else she could do to show her respect for them?

She cooks for entire family before leaving for her work and participates in all of their functions and work to help them out as any daughter in law would , she’s not leeching off Poddars without doing anything

Poddars don’t even let her sit with them in dining table .

What more is she supposed to do ?

Since she doesn't like Ruhi interfering, then why does she also bother interfering in Ruhi's life, making promises with Ruhi's per Nanu and giving her a lecture on moving on in life?

And calling a spade as a spade is fine. We are too used to see meek and sacrificial daughter in laws on TV, but there is a certain tone and way of putting across your things.

And if everyone ends up shouting at each other or being rude to each other, what's the difference between you and the person in front of you?

One should never take any shit from anyone, expecially when a person's mother is being disrespected but I do think Abhira should tone down a little. Sometimes because of her extremely argumentative and impulsive nature over everything, whatever valid points also she tells, they end up taking a backstand or loose their essence.

Also, it is true that abhira is dependent upon Poddars. We haven't seen if Akshu has saved any money or done any investments for Abhira to take care of herself financially, and I am sure since she is an intern her law stipend would also not be enough for her to live comfortably.

So, in that way, she is at a disadvantage until she doesn't completely become financially independent, hence it's important to be a little grateful to the family that is keeping you in their home.

I agree that she should have dealt with this case more sensibly.. But that doesnt mean that she doesnt loves and respects them. In all her life she had her mother only.. So ofcourse it would be difficult for her to fit into that big family that too when she knows that all this will end in 1 year. We have seen her giving emotional support to Vidya, helping Dadi sa with her speech, motivating Krish and Charu to speak for themselves... Numerous other things too....Her bond with Ruhi is not that sweet.. Phir bhi she took stand for her when Ru was publically humiliated. So Yes she consider them as family and she also longs for them..And I think love and respect should be a two way process.

I also dont want her to interfere in Ruhi's life. Hopefully she stays away from her and Goenkas as far as possible.Because at this point neither Ruhi nor goenkas deserve a gem like Abhira.

Even today, when Ruhi went to ask her for medicines, she could've answered nicely for the sake of it? Why does she have to be mean all the time. She just comes off as bratty now. Dadisa is right in a way, she doesn't know how to live in a family but doesn't have basic mannerism to talk to her bhabhi. Not taking Ruhi's side, but just respect the relations. It's kind of like how we have to talk with the uncle we secretly hate with respect.

I know some will say the Poddar’s also aren't respecting her but they aren’t obligated to do so.. just because one fine day Armaan got married and brought home his wife doesn’t mean they should accept her.. whether it’s morally right or wrong is a different question… but Poddar’s have every right to treat her differently as she was literally imposed on them… but if Abhira doesn’t like this treatment, then the makers should have shown her taking financial help from Armaan, getting into a hostel, working part time and repaying him… then she would have been her own boss and doesn’t owe anyone anything…

But it’s not shown like that… despite the family disrespecting her mother and questioning her up bringing she has been shown to live in PH then it’s on her to be respectful and tolerate their actions… there is a quote beggars aren’t choosers, Abhira can’t stay at the PH and act entitled and expect respect and love from everyone and be mean unnecessarily

See in the serial Ruhi is wrong so Abhira being mean towards her doesn’t look so bad but their is hardly any scene where she isn’t fighting with Armaan, if I had been in her position I’d have been forever grateful and indebted… nobody is expecting that at least she can be a bit polite and respectful while conversing….

The whole Poddar family should be grateful to Abhira. Her mother gave up her life to save Arman. If the latter died that day, the Poddar firm would have become defunct and Phupha sa would have converted it into Bansal Law Firm.

Armaan's life has no value for them. He's just a glorified servant, that's all. It would be actually fun if Phuphasa take over the firm, with that chorni Charu helping her dad.
