Montage is Abhira following her dreams. Armaan looking at Abhira and Ruhi at Armaan. The only one who would fulfill their dreams would be Abhira. Armaan's dreams is subject to his character growth. Ruhi wouldn't get Armaan.

He did not hug her back…. Most likely because ruhi will feel bad!!!
