But Ruhi is right and what she said will play a major part for Armaan realising his feelings for Abhira . He always takes stand for Abhira ,even if he has to go against his family..he only does that for her and not even for himself.

Whatever Armaan is doing is not out of character or out of the blue. He believed he loved Ruhi at that time (Which we know is not really possible. Love is much deeper than attraction and some dreams. Trust me, if tomorrow some guy comes and falls in love with Abhira and Abhira too befriends him, he would be devastated. Armaan is not taking Ruhi for granted, he is taking Abhira for granted. He never stops Abhira when she asserts her right as his wife, even in front of Ruhi. He could never let go of her but he might lose her because of his oscillating behavior.
