Dads actually don't have that much importance over here in this legacy story it's all about mom and daughters kartik ko kitni yaad ki hei ak aur arohi kabhi b nhi. Same is the case here. And also ak had legally married both of them her first marriage got broken. What would even dadisa can say about all this even she won't even know all this mostly.

Birlas have no existence left in this show, because they have no relation to the FL. Why would they be brought back? It would make more sense to bring back Kairav-Muskaan who are related to Abhira and can put Ruhi in place.

Dadi will apologize, because she was wrong in Ruhi's case. She doesn't need to know the girls' past for that. Just about the two min noodle story. And nobody ran way with anybody. Abhira's parents were legally married and their families were fully aware of that. Also Poddars are not going to know any such details of past, not of Abhira nor of Ruhi.
