Armaan completely fits the look of Armaan - the nerd, shy, older brother kinds which I don't think Rohit would have pulled off because he looks younger - and a better fit for Rohit's character. Plus, Sheh is improving in the acting department which is making me like him more.

Plus the contrasting character traits of Armaan and Abhira make their pair more interesting - they complement each other well which would not be the case with Rohit's character.

True. Sheh looks evey bit Armaan. His looks complement his lawyer profession and bada bhai character. Shivam looks like a kid and he is treated like one. Everyone is perfectly casted. Only if acting was better from Ruhi mainly... sigh.

One of Ekta's serial is going off air, and everyone is saying she shows love stories too soon, ab koi content nahi bacha uske pass dikhane ko. Toh woh bhi nahi kar sakte. Plus my personal pov showing love story too soon without any kalesh and drama repeative ho jata hai, Wahi nibba nibba pan.

Isn't it hilarious how he knows very well who are rotten in his family. Unlike other MLs he isn't blind to the reality of his family. He knows all their buttons. It's just that his need for acceptance and begging for scraps of love have made him a quiet, and weaker personality. Someday if his limits are broken, he is going to lash at all beautifully 😂

Yes Armaan is aware of everything! He is not blind not dumb. The whole point of his character is that he is NOT the favourite or favoured child! He is guilty since he was born, because they have always blamed him and his mother. I would say he is similar to the character Bihaan in Thapki Pyaar Ki as he Bihan was the adopted son who would do anything for his adoptive mother and knew that she loves her real son more than him. Here, Vidya is more subtle and she does try to love Armaan and Rohit equally but she can’t. Everyone wants Armaan to go against his family and favour Abhira instantly and love Abhira when the the whole point of their relationship is slow burn. Armaan still hasn’t shared about him to Abhira- why? Because they just became friends and Armaan doesn’t share feelings with anyone. He shared stuff with Ruhi because he had to explain to her. In a sense both he and Ruhi are similar because they both had traumatic childhoods while Abhira had a very different life and upbringing. Abhira is also opposite him in a lot of ways in terms of personality. But who wants insta love especially after the fiasco of Season 3? I for one am loving the slow journey. It’s not smooth sailing either- lots of twists and turns that will make both Armaan and Abhira grow. Because isn’t that what true love does? Makes you grow up to be the best version of yourself?

I think the main problem here is everyone being bitter with how the previous gen ended. Like the writers failed to satisfy the fans of the couple whom they started with and also failed to satisfy the fans of the couple which later came into being. Like it was an utter failure.

And to give such a show another chance needs guts tbh.
