They r married for barely 1 month. And I think in our country couple can file for divorce only after 6 months/ 1 year.. I am not sure. But still there is a time gap.. Anyways itv shows dont show any logic.

I also want abhira to leave that house. But not gonna happen soon🥲

He was toxic af, but the show was from Arnav’s pov and had some traits which made him stood apart. Even during contract marriage, nobody dared to insult Khushi and went scot free. He always stood up for Khushi no matter what. He always took care of Khushi when needed. And neither Raizadas nor Arnav blamed everything wrong on Khushi. And he didn’t run behind 2 min noodles love.

As a devoted IPKKND fan, I completely agree with your points. Arnav's character had numerous flaws, but he eventually changed for the better towards the conclusion, which is an ideal model of character development. Similarly, Armaan has his own issues to overcome and lacks the courage to confront his family, so it might take some time for him to muster the strength to stand up for Abhira.

Yes.. Arnav had lots of flaws. But neither him nor his family can be compared to poddars. Khushi was well received by arnav's sister and nani.If I remember it correctly,he neither shouted at her infront of family members also.

But situation and family dynamics is so different in rishta. I sincerely hope that they redeem Armaan's character before it gets too late

The Raizadas never accused their bahus, Payal or Khushi, without valid reasons, even when Manorama used to taunt them for their modest backgrounds. Despite this, others in the family always supported them. It's undeniable that Arnav and Khushi had already developed feelings for each other before the forced marriage occurred. So, even if there were misunderstandings, there was already an underlying affection. Post the forced wedding in front of Shyam or after Shyam's truth got exposed and Anjali started resentmrnt towards Khushi, Arnav attempted to strike a balance between his di and khushi. When Khushi departed feeling guilty, he brought her back and apologized for his mistakes. In another instance during their second wedding, when Garima's truth was revealed by Arnav's Dadi (the Mimi from Ye Rishta), despite being upset, he didn't blame Khushi. Instead, he stood up for her in front of his Dadi on various occasions. That's redemption, and the PH succeeded in not disappointing the audience in that aspect.

Armaan has a considerable distance to cover. For that, he needs the courage to stand up against wrongdoing. Moreover, someone needs to confront him with the reality that his family isn't flawless and needs to acknowledge their mistakes.

Raizada's were ideal family. That mad cap family was loving, caring and understanding. They were open minded. Arnav was a jerk to khushi because of his past and not because Khushi was poor. If he was, he wouldn't be so respectful to her family members. Arnav loved Khushi and there will never be anyone better than him for Khushi. Yes, Khushi suffered a lot because of him, but even in dire situations, Arnav was the one who protected her. After kidnapping, Arnav placed her on the highest pedestal.

Poddars are toxic, a far cry from Raizadas. Armaan doesn't even match Arnav in any way. Hope he learns for the better because Abhira is perfect the way she is. She deserves the best and hope Armaan becomes the best. Otherwise it will be disappointing.

Arnav wasn't consistently rude. I agree he raised his voice at Khushi in the early days of their marriage, and it was often due to Shyam's instigation. He apologized for all his misdeeds after the kidnapping incident. On the other hand, honestly, Armaan doesn't seem to contribute much. He always supports his family unquestioningly. He acts as a legal defender for his family, but he should consider both sides before passing judgment.

Arnav stood up for Khushi in front of family but always manhandled her when alone. His love was like a thorn. His heart knew how to love but bleeded the other person in the path. That was the crux of this story "Kyun dard hai itna tere hi ishq mein... Rabba Vey...". The show had already established that the male lead was going to be an "anti-hero". That was first of a kind. He had a good redemption arc to be honest. He stood by Khushi even when the cause of his parents' death was somehow related to Khushi. That was when Arnav truly healed and saw beyond his anger, pain and blind hatred.

Also only Dadi was cruel. Mami was grey. She taunted the sisters every now and then but wasn't evil. Otherwise the whole family was a greenflagsmiley27. The show was an instant hit due to the chemistry. Moreover it wasn't the typical saas bahu drama that flooded the screens at that time. No wonder the show had to shut down when Barun quit the show.

One can file for annulment if the marriage is less than a year old. In this case the legal proceedings are faster and do not require the mandatory period of co-habitation as per the orders of the judge before finalising divorce.

You do know alimony is a thing and realistically Hindu marriages mein ek saal hone se pehle divorce nahi hota. The show is not even two months old and the FL is being called out for other people's actions. He could have gotten the marriage annulled right there because duress mein hua tha. Par nahi bhai ek college ki bacchi jo abhi abhi orphan huyi hai woh graduation fees ke liye use kar rahi hai Armaan ko lol
