Theek Abhimanyu had huge contribution in giving shelter to abhira and she got her name from him too as a gift. He saved her when akshara was about to abort the baby. Whole existence of abhira is only because abhimanyu saved her

YES! Makers wanted him to marry Arohi for Ruhi; and when 'Navji would finally pass away, Akshara would be widowed, come back to GH and equation between the three of them would change again! Then with both the women warming up to Abhi; he would be again sandwiched between two women; one who would not express that she wanted him and one who would! One who was his love and heart; and the other who was his promise and responsibility! And this time, sadly his loyalties would be tested and questioned wrt both his kids, Ruh and Abhir! That would've been just painful to watch and a total put-off, and maybe TV audience enjoys watching two women and one man and DKP expected to enjoy the TRPs skyrocket!

This would've become a reality and the character of Abhi would again change overnight like WD, but all thanks to Harshad, we never got to go through this cringefest! Like you said, thank god, We didnt have to endure JEEJA-SAALI romance! Abhi's soul is intact, his character growth is admirable while being natural, without losing the OG Abhi traits, and that made us all fall in love with him all over again! ❤️❤️❤️
