The only thing that matters, the only thing that has ever mattered is that Abhi loves Ak and he will always be with her. He has adopted all three kids as his and he will try to do what's best for all three of them. He will remain in all three's lives and be a father to all three of them. In his last moments that is all that matters anymore. He also told his mother that their relationship will always remain. He will always be her son and she will always be his mother. This is something he has to do for himself, for Ak, and for his kids. But that doesn't mean he is giving up on any of his other relationships.

I know he is to die, I know he will never come back, I know he will not be able to father any of them, I know he will likely not even be remembered by Ak. But what it's worth, his love has always remained true and pure. He never needed any labels with anyone he loves, be it the kids, or Ak. So for Abhimanyu Birla, the whole question the show is based on is a moot point.

@bold...Totally loved the direction of his closure...his love need not be defined by any Rishta. I am glad they put that in.❤️❤️❤️ He is no longer expecting her to love him back. It would have been great if he has the ability to move on but then his love is not that weak. He loved her completely and with his whole soul. If Akshara wants to marry him, he will coz that's what she wants. So beautiful. I teared up. 😢😢

@ Red..Probably this is also why he and Abhir are not required for this story anymore. His feelings are too good for this Rishta verse and Abhir will be a connection that will always remind everyone of Abhi. He and his love will always be above and beyond all these people.
