Inconsistent pacing has been one of the biggest issues this season and it happened again. An episode that needed to be dealt with carefully even if they were setting up for gen leap was rushed again, where as we had 1 full episode for mindless cat and mouse game earlier this week.

End result, I was left confused as to "Aksharae shaadi ke liye kyun maana". Her point of view missing yet again. Once again Abhi's dialogues were written better and as expected (him saying straight out, she wouldnt have considered his feelings was the best one), but Akshara's dialogues, whilst some of it was nice, a lot didnt make sense and I thought were contradictory. She said there were many reasons for agreeing to go ahead with the wedding, Abhir being the most important one, but she also took into consideration Abhi's feelings. That did not make sense at all. Also didnt like how she only asked if he was ok with the shaadi in the end. The whole proposal made me feel really bad for Abhi. He deserved better.

Impact of the scene was reduced further with the constant switching of scenes to BH. BH drama on its own was nice, but the proposal needed to be a stand alone scene. AaRUE saying she's seen what keeping secrets from kids does, anyone know who she was referring to?

Abhir calling Abhi dadda, to me that was just random. It would've made much more sense had he called him dadda after being saved yesterday and that being one of the reasons for Akshara to go ahead with the shaadi. Only consolation was Abhi/HC's and Abhir's acting. Couldnt read Akshara's expression, would've expected her to be relieved/happy that she made her son happy, but may be I missed it. No idea why they zoomed in on Swarna's face, but it was nice to see birlas being happy.

Above were my observations but my biggest complaints from the episode however were,

- my bestie Manju wearing the same beige net saree for the 111th time😡😡😡

- Abhi's over grown hair and beard😡😡

I really wanna know who writes Abhis dialogue and who writes Aksharas ..may be they need to talk before writing😂 Manju and that beige saree..it has separate love story

@bold...Abhi deserves better..ye to hum kabse keh re hai..sunta bhi to nahi hai ladka kisi ki only watchable scene I think is dada one..HC acting must have made it worth..they seem to be rushing..how long do you think this gen will last

It's petty, but I enjoy the Goenkas getting a taste on their own medicine with Muskaan. She is the vamp, but after that precap I'm rooting for her.

Akshara and the Goenkas enjoyed terrorizing Abhi for months so I hope whatever drama she does to them is entertaining and VERY public lol.

The see through saree is back yes for the 111th time, I am keeping count too, just yesterday I was missing the saree and voila it’s back.

My eyes were on the mithai Abhi brought for Manju, it looked delicious, I think it was milk barfi , yummy 🤤

Loved Mimi asking Akshu whether she’s ready to give Abhi her 100% too ( in the precap) not very happy with the proposal, heart was missing.

@bold was thinking the same thing..they are one step away from building temple..may be construction is already under progress..that's why they have shifted sets..gen 4 me dikhega

that mithai, wasnt it the same one Abhi shoved into his mouth during tilak 2 with AaRUE. I think it is a rajasthani traditional mithai. May be there is someone here on IF who is from rajasthan that can confirm it Yes it did look yummy, what a waste, neither of them had it.

@bold, seriously, if makers wanted to continue with this constant praising and glorification, they should've written that character better. Apart from the early kasauli days where he was being a true friend to Akshara and a selfless father figure to Abhir. all we have seen is him being extremely insecure (mera kya hoga), self pro claimed acchai with actions not matching his words, a man who lived mostly off his in-laws fortune or wife's jam business, expecting Abhi to repay his debt for being the father without even knowing he had a son. Too many to list.

@red, good point, I didnt think of it that way. But you are right, time someone actually questioned Akshara's intentions.

As always Abhi/HC makes the episode watchable( post leap 2, I did love Akshu prior to this). Abhi is probably the only character that has remained superior. Flawed but relatable.

I also feel at times, someone other than DKP is writing for Abhi, be it the dialogues or his scenes or characterisation. You are never shocked with his dialogues or actions because you expect them from the character. Fact that HC has literally lived the character is an added bonus.

They are certainly rushing, but I guess that is to bring in Akshara's pregnancy shock and how everyone deals with it, followed by I guess a couple of short leaps. As for when this season will end, my prediction is around the end of cricket world cup in mid nov, perhaps just before or after diwali. Abhi's character may end sooner, as per SBS HC is finishing at the end of Oct.

So true..Abhi is center point of season 3..it's his story ..I am so glad till now they haven't been successful in ruining Abhi..they tried their best on WD but somehow weren't successful..and HC adds life to Abhi..❤️ do you think they will actually go thru with this pregnancy thing or will be a fluke

From where I see it from quite sometime now I feel Abhi is the centre point of the story is because he is the centre point of Akshara's life.

We see this story from 2 lenses one is Akshara's POV and other is neutral on what's happening as an observer.

Because the story is Akshara's and it's her POV we see the narrative around Abhi is sometimes high, sometimes as if he is indeed the bad person.

That's why all this Nav jaap happens too coz that's Akshara's POV.

Then we see it normally as third person on what's happening, who is doing who and that's why we feel Abhi has been duped, Nav isn't that great as they keep on saying or vice versa. Basically our perception of the story.
