How long has it been?

How long has it been in the show's timeframe? Before I stopped watching the show I remember Muskaan's saying only one year passed since Abhinav's death, but others on the forum and social media are saying it's been three months.

Which is it? I'm genuinely curious, but I don't want to rewatch the episodes lol.

Muskaan basically said it hasn't even been one year since Nav's death .....so some of us interpreted that to mean that it's been ALMOST a year cuz the makers showed many festivals being celebrated in quick succession which usually happen in different months of the year like Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami, Ganesh pooja.....so we thought that meant they were showing the passage of time......at the minimum, yes about 3 months have passed since Nav's death....cuz Abhi was kept in jail for some weeks during the court case, then they took a month's leap around Abhir's depression track and after that they did a bunch of these festivals so easily around 3 months at the min.

But makers don't really care for timeline or logic if they want to show a pregnancy.....they will bring it however they like....lol

I am even confused how akshara became tigernu lawyer in 3 months. Court ke case toh 3 mahine main khatham nahi hothe may be she is expert in off court settlement

So are makers going to say akshara chose her 2nd husband right after 3 months of divorce and she will choose abhimanyu again after 3 months of abhinav's death

Akshara chose abhinav as abhir's father and now she will choose abhimanyu for abhir and she considers him as friend abhinav ko toh wou bhi nahi diya rha 6 saal thak 😂

Will akshara romance abhimanyu while carrying abhinav's child 😁

Promos are always misleading so let's see how it goes. So i am holding my judgment untill i see that in actual epis.

@bold: Wait, I think she married Nav after Abhir was born, right? So I think that was almost 6-7 months after she left Udaipur.

She atleast took longer to marry Nav after her divorce from Abhimayu than she did to recover from Nav's death in 3 months and agreed to remarry the "toxic ex" Abhimanyu that she claimed was a blight on her life......she seems pretty happy based on this promo with the way she's asking for Abhi's hand to do dosti waali kasmein with him

Honestly, I zoned out whenever she is onscreen so I misheard her. Like you said I assumed the makers were implying the passage of time was longer since all the festivals. It looks like the festivals were just time-pass to fill the episodes because the WC is starting soon.

@bold This leap has to be the worst leap in ITV history. Unless I'm wrong I don't think there has been a female lead or mother who appointed different fathers to different children. Akshara is the first. This moving on track could've executed much better. Makers wanted to have their cake and eat it too. That's why the show is a complete mess. No track can save this show. It's over now.

You're right the promos can misleading. To their credit the promo worked because I'm going to start watch again lol.

Her willingly and happily ready to marry Abhi in months isn't shocking. She doesn't value relationships. She gave Abhir to her live-in roommate days after he was born. She can do it again lol. She is a plot device and her only purpose is appoint fathers then birth the female lead.

She comes up as opportunist devoid of any self-respect or common sense. She has no respect for other people's emotions as well. Replacing people and relationships comes easily to her because only the labels matter to her, not people or their feelings. She feels no empathy or remorse for her actions. She comes off a sociopath to me lol. I said it before, but Abhi, Abhir, and even Abhinav with his constant crying deserves better than her. Sadly, it's ITV and her emotional manipulations will be whitewashed using the mother card.

If the contract rumors are true I would completely understand anyone not renewing their contracts after this leap. I'm curious to see which brave souls will sign up to be Gen 4 leads lol.

@bold: No doubt, Akshara is the first to do this on ITV.....a true PIONEER. Who knows, we may be seeing more Akshara clones doing casual father swaps of their kids in the coming years on ITV....the PH does seem to think they are doing trendsetting work here with keeping every kid confused about who to consider their father
