I don’t think I romanticized the collar grabbing, I just noted how she grabs his collar with full haq and Abhi never stops her.
You know another point- if Abhi was so bad and “domestic abuser” as some people claim then how come Akshara is never scared to grab his collar or yell at him or say hurtful things. answer is simple because he isn’t an abuser.

I don't think Abhir is blind to Abhi's emotions, it's more like he is sensitive to his mama's emotions. Right from the start he knew that his mama didn't like Docman and he always took that into consideration. He still doesn't know the entire story, but he realizes some thing happened. He still hasn't questioned why AbhiM left him and Ak. and frankly AbhiM needs that confrontation from Abhir to progress. I think maybe all this is because they want to show the deep connection that Abhir has with Ak. Even though AbhiN and Abhir had a deep bond, it was also because Ak was holding AbhiN's hand and supported him as his papa. She never did that to AbhiM.

Abhir will only accept AbhiM as Papa when Ak holds AbhiM's hand again. and Ak holding AbhiM's hand is not the same as holding AbhiN's. It is an emotional connection that the three have with each other and only Ak can complete it. Abhir seems to be very intelligent. He requested AbhiM that he will revert back to Docman and not call him Dada because he loved him as Docman (and actually, AbhiM settling for Dada was a disgrace). It was a relation he formed on his own terms and accepting AbhiM as his papa will also be his decision after Ak accepts AbhiM back into her life. if shown properly, it will be good story line.

Like today Akshara mentioned that she is mature around everyone but immature with Abhi only, I think it’s the same for Abhir- he acts like a kid should in front Abhi, doesn’t act that mature around him. Like last weeks episode, he acts stubborn around Abhi, he wanted Abhi to sing in his school competition no matter what.

He was always shown thinking about Akshnav more and being mature but with Abhi- Abhir thinks about himself. Which I think that’s how it should be. Parents want their kids to act like kids around them, not being mature and hiding things.

Also Abhir calling Docman will always go back to fact that none of the grown ups correct him, they let him call Abhi Docman. I can bet that if Akshara were to sit down and explain to Abhir that calling Abhi Docman isn’t right, Abhir will understand.

But if makers show Abhir on his own calling Abhi Dada/Papa - it will be beautiful. You know what a wonderful way it would be to show Abhir accepting Abhi as his father. They have an another school event where Abir is asked questions about his family, and say they go like what’s your dad’s name and Abhir right away goes like Abhimanyu Birla. This would be natural and imagine how happy Abhi would be that is son recognized him as dad in front of so many people 😚

I agree with all of this, and that would be amazing. But it is weird they haven't shown that happening yet. I am guessing its the next thing and I will be really happy for Abhi when that does happen for him.

And honestly, while I am glad that Ak and Abhir can be immature with Abhi and know he will take care of them, it is still not fair to Abhi himself. He has always played the mature person who is taking care of everyone. With Ak, when he let his emotions overpower him, he lost everything, cause she never stepped up and took care of him.

Now finally I think Ak is stepping up to take care of him sometimes, but so far she is just berating and insulting him. She needs to build him back up for me to accept her again, but I know that will never happen.

Lovely summary Grace. I agree, Ak's reaction was expected given how far makers took her relationship with her husband. They are trying to do serious damage control to gain lost respect for AK atleast from TRP audience. Not sure if this is enough though, given they have completely erased from AK's mind any good memories of AB.

Yes to us it makes 0 sense given Abhira were shown as soulmates, but as HC once said for story to move, you have take a poison pill at times. So have to put up with this for a few more days.

I actually liked the episode otherwise, Adults for once having sensible conversation. I dont pay much attention to Swarna or Surekha, those 2 dont count. Manish, Mimi and Anand all made sense. I was so relieved AaRUE's engagement was brought up, but was surprised at how it was dismissed or how no one seemed bothered to suggest talking to her😲. Nothing wrong with that but there appeared to be no consideration to AaRUE's feelings, any other girl in her position I would've sympathised, but not her.

Liked all Abhira scenes. Abhir is such a straight shooter like his father and has no hesitation giving orders. The school scene and the awkwardness was done well. Abhir's dialogue about hero-heroine hugging was kind of cute but said so casually.

AB, my heart bleeds for this guy. Him questioning his relationship with Akshu, that was really heart breaking to watch. Can never forgive the writers for destroying Abhira to this extent.

Only good thing is that the actors will make the upcoming episodes worth a watch. Yes Abhira will never be the same again but given where we are, I am ok to settle for new Abhira but Ak must be the one to take the lead this time and I sincerely hope AB is able to keep his feelings under check.

I ended up watching the whole epi.....and it was a pretty decent one actually

The Abhira scenes were good - the awkward video call and later the discussion outside the school was also nicely done. It's mainly Harshali carrying this muted version of Abhira through and sometimes it feels like they are breaking the fourth wall by saying stuff like "Yeh humein suit nahin karta"

Also liked the scene of Abhi reflecting to himself in the car about whether their past was good or not and reminding himself to shut the window to the past....but that's when his car stalls and he has to end up riding in Ak's car.....lol

The family roundtable discussion on the Abhira rishta was actually amusing to watch.....especially to see Manish Goenka now jumping for them to get together cuz they act like a family that completes each other anyways....yeh sab Kasauli mein nahin notice kar rahe the yeh log...lol it's hilarious irony to see Manish basically getting the same dialogues Manju had in Kasauli

Abhira showing up to REJECT the rishta together was a nice touch....I liked how they built up both their reactions from individual "no" to combined "no no no".....I'm glad they got out the No's before Ak started to list out her "remember, I'm still Nav ki vidhwa" stuff.....Abhi's expression in that bit was like oh god we have to sit through another round of this jaap

Waise I'm just tired of Surekha ki overacting now and the faces she makes in every scene....it's really OTT and faltu ke eye rolls when she doesn't even have context for half the history in this rishte....lol bas muh chalaane ke liye bolna hai. Swarna and Surekha looking so happy over Ak rejecting this rishta....lol inki bhi mast chop karegi Ak ek din

Mimi laying it on thick with the AKELAPAN speech....and Ak finally just getting up and running away from there....lol her reactions do feel more like she doesn't want to lose her status quo and semblance of balance she has found after many setbacks.

Manju finally speaking up in the end of the family discussion was very nicely done by Ami....the way she laid out her desire to still see Abhira reunite....but she will never impose her will on them again....does make it seem like she will get to see them making the choice of their own will in some manner....lol.....Arohi was not an option or factor for Manju....Anand made her life easier by summarily dismissing the namesake engagement and everyone knowing it will never go anywhere

That was part of her family jaap she did in Kasauli. She doesn't want drama. She just wants peace and for the past couple months she has been getting that. The Goenkas and Birlas families that use to fight all the time are now together. She and Abhi are friends and co-parents. Abhi is no longer in guilt and is going back to work at Birla Hospital. Manjari has recovered and no longer has fire trauma. Abhir is healthy and both him and Ruhi are doing well in school. Muskaan apologized to Kairav and they seem to be set. Happy Happy hum saath saath hain.

But what she fails to always realize Life is never just happy moments. There are a lot of ups and downs. Eventually downs do come around. You may not be able to control Life but you can control how you react to it. And her gut instincts are always to run and hide and bury her head in the sand. Until something drastic happens for her to move and then sometimes once provoked she either manages to gather confidence or goes on some angry rampage (accounting for her actions of late - past 8 months of anger)

Surekha is very irritating!! What does she know about Abhi? Like he would have bonded with Aarohi if he didn't know about Abhir. He was always going to treat her as Ruhi's maatashree/a colleague BM was always partial towards Aarohi, and looks like Surekha is too.

I hope the makers take Abhi questioning his relation with Akshara further.

I would like a scene where Abhi sits down with Shefali because she asks him why he said no to their reunion. I would like Abhi to be like Akshara said our relation was umar kaid for her. And he goes like how can I say yes to something that was umar kaid for her. But then he asks Shefali if the relationship was really that bad, that did they not have any happy moments. He can also go like we dreamed of our happy family with our children together and we were so excited to be parents. He is like now I don’t have her or my kid as my son’s Papa is someone else, I’m just Docman. So he goes on regularly like he has been saying that he has no right to have a chance of relation with her, they are only coparents and friends and he is okay with that.
At the same time, I would like Akshara to be passing by and hearing all this.

I don't entirely agree with this. First they showed Abhir-Nav bond as being much stronger than Abhir-Ak bond, infact mostly it looked like Ak just gave the responsibility of parenting to Nav. There were no proper scenes for them until they wanted to do Ma jaap and show how similar Abhi and Abhir are.

Second, I don't think a kid needs his mom to accept his dad, for him to call him dad. Ak has already accepted Abhi as Abhir's father multiple times now. She is coparenting with him. They show Abhi's position very clearly now. Ak isn't even angry with Abhi anymore. So there is no real reason for Abhir to still be holding back.

And the dada-docman thing was just heartbreaking for everyone. Its one thing for Abhir to say no to calling Abhi dada in the beginning itself. He should have said that he doesn't feel that way about Abhi yet. And waited to call him that on his own. But to start calling him dada, use that to show off to Akshnav when he was angry with them, and then to just say I don't want to anymore? That makes no sense to me.

Labels don't make relationships - something neither Ak nor Abhir seem to understand. If Abhir was already calling Abhi dada, there was no reason for him to revert to Docman. Nothing really changed in their relationship either way, except for Abhir accepting the truth that Abhi is also his father. Now Abhir is happy to accept Abhi as his father in front of the world and whenever it is convenient for him, but still sees Abhi as a friend?

At this point, it seems more like a commitment issue for both mother and son. They want to keep Abhi on the leash, have him do his duty as Abhir's father, but not give him any actual recognition, incase this whole thing doesn't work out for them. Its a way for them to leave if they want to. Just like for Ak, when she did not want to emotionally invest in Nav cause she wanted to leave the option open to leave whenever.

This would be amazing really. Someone needs to remind Abhi what Abhira were actually like so he himself doesn't get lost in this false narrative that Ak has been propagating. Six years is a long time and memories are weird. They can be rewritten, especially if they are clouded by extreme emotions, like in Ak's case. So someone objective needs to discuss things again, or they need to see some photos or videos to remember what it was actually like. Abhi on the other hand was shown to not even think about Abhira during the six years cause it was too painful for him. But he has been consistently having FBs since then and all of his FBs are about their happy moments. So he is confused still, that what umar kaid is Ak talking about.

I hope they show a good breakdown for him, where he discusses how he thought they were happy and he thought they were in love. How he tried his best (he has already mentioned this), but it was not enough. How maybe what was love for him, was a cage for her, and he does not want to cage her again with his love. How much it hurts to have your love questioned again and again. But I also want this to happen with Ak only. She deserves to hear his side of the story which has not happened yet. She should reanalyze what she said and why she said it and what she actually believes in.

y does it not happen that akshu is talking about how she was roaming on roads all alone after losing her kids....and neil....she lost everything.....how abhi backstabbed her after himself digging into seerat's thing.........and still getting to know about abhir, she called abhi so many times...to give him his rights....only to hear his rejection....how she would have lost her life and abhir....if not for abhinav....how can she trust abhi.....he left her and abhir...and never considered her a family......how he gets engaged to her sister everytime......how to trust this person....she values trust and respect in a relationship...and she has no trust and no respect for abhi to be in a relationship with him.....abhi hear this....

and then abhi tries to earn her respect and trust...😂 sahi mayne mein...not by words and playing self-victim again...😂

he needs to know....y for him their relation was not bad...but was a umarkaid for akshu.....🤣
