sad isnt it Grace. Whilst the reverse psychology wasnt bad (selfish part was not needed), didnt feel as connected to it because of the sudden shift in AK's characterisation. I did like what she said about AB's impulsive decision and him regretting it later. I know there was no direct reference to WD but dont know if the intent from the makers was to convey that message.
I felt the narration shifted again. To me it looked like DKP/SP are desperately trying to hold onto legacy viewers forcing KV-Muksi on us, KV as a side track would've been really good and made sense right at the beginning of this season(when you could relate to the character and the actor) but not now. I thought TRP audience had given their verdict already with minimum jump in ratings for his wedding. Dont understand why they have forcefully brought in a senseless track and giving it so much air time.
Something else I observed today was the stark contrast between kasauli bhai - behen, at least the way I understood it. For 8 months we were forced to believe Mr Sharma was the most self less person on this planet for bringing up Abhir as his own son (my personal opinion is to the contrary, but going with what DKP have said audience believed in).
Today Muski was shown to be extremely selfish by not only prioritising her pyaar over an elderly woman(her not realising it wasnt Manjari is irrelevant) needed help but also justifying her actions. The great goenkas who give lengthy insaaniyaat bhashan had nothing to say😲.
Appalling from the makers for not condemning Muski's actions but making it even worse by having a 6 year old apologise for saying the truth.
I think because Kairav pulled Muskaan away the elders didn't have time to say anything. Kairav obviously wants to handle this in private about the EMA. Goenkas are generally useless. They did feel applaud/sock at what Muskaan did but then hearing her accusations on Kairav the narrative shifted for them because it was about their family and Manjari is safe at home now.
As for Abhir telling the truth and then apologizing I just few it as Abhi and Akshara’s traits coming out. Abhir told the truth which is what Abhi would have done. Saying sorry was Akshara’s trait because he felt bad that he got someone in trouble. But at the end he did the right thing. If this had been Akshara she would have kept her mouth shut and privately spoke to Muskaan about what happened.
DKP will never openly omit that the cameo did not work. They will dance around the issue and try to project their own narrative. So I don't ever seeing them address this whole Kasuali chapter the way it actually needs to be addressed. We will get piece meal scenes of Akshara saying one line here or there but never full admittance of fault or anything. This whole help Abhi and Manjari is how Writers will whitewash Akshara by showing her concern about them. Her pep talks, her music therapy, etc. So Manjari and Abhi can thank her for what she did despite the way they treated her. And from there they will reset everything. Manajri and Abhi started this whole WD saga so they will be the ones ending it by taking the blame therefore if Abhi and Manjari have moved passed this phase with Akshara shouldn't we the audience do so as well, is how the Writers will play it. Essential writers are saying delete, delete, delete in your mind whatever you didn't like 8 months ago. We are not going to address it. Just look to the future onward story. That chapter has closed this is the next chapter being written.
Having thought about it some more I think Akshara tired the calm approach (the first time she stopped him in the hospital hallway) but that didn't work, then she tried the reason approach (reading out all those patient cases that he helped) and that didn't work, and so she tried the angry approach (today lecture yelling in the hallway) with Abhi and just sort of lost it when he continued to be stubborn. I will say if this was Akshara 1.0 she would just use the calm approach and because Abhi can be stubborn this would have taken weeks to get him to come back to the hospital. The fact she did try to call out his extremes shows now the ability to have some communication. Sometimes you cannot sugarcoat everything. Essentially (I know some people won't like this reference) she is talking like Abhi. How he would call someone out if they were being unreasonable or stubborn about something.
But there is a double standard going on if Abhi ever said anything like this to anyone he is immediately labeled toxic.
