From the titbits of scenes I have been able to watch, I doubt anyone else's words are even reaching Abhi. He doesn't care about what anyone but the four people in his life have to say. And right now, it doesn't matter what the situation was, for himself he has failed as a son by not being able to protect his mom. Just like for himself he failed as a brother by not being able to protect Neil, even if he wasn't there. The situation is irrelevant, there are no excuses, there is nothing really. So no this cannot be compared to white day in any other way. Except that in both cases Abhi blamed himself for not being able to protect a loved one despite the situation being impossible. At least Manjari is alive so she can help him come out of that guilt that he is putting himself in.

This is between Abhi and Manjari, I don't get why they are forcibly putting Ak in the middle. Abhi Manjari bond is a lot stronger than any other bond of the show and they are really open with each other too. They will resolve this between themselves.

Felt bad for Abhi that him being a good son to his mother is being questioned. Everybody already says bad husband, bad father- I remember in white day, Manjiri slapped him many times and said to him what kind on brother are you that you couldn’t save Neil. Now today he is being tagged as a bad son. Really isn’t easy being Abhimanyu Birla 😕

Post leap bhi it was shown he isn't interested but forced to join Birla hospital and clearly not able to manage.
