Yea I agree, if payment is the reason then he should definitely continue doing.. now he is 40, in his next show he may not play a lover boy.. but if it’s out of respect on RS or any other form then better he should quit. Hope he gets a good role something other than hanging from tree or chasing his love interest. I wish to see him in ott platform.

i would have loved seeing akshara as famous singer than jam maker. Her character has been turned into abla naari character. If it was a brand new show viewers may not know fls family. But this is 14 years legacy show and all legacy viewers know akshara ki naai kaun hai, dadi kaun hai and all. With this kind of show if they show fl choose stranger over her own legacy family how will anyone relate to her.

The show which hold up the flag of relations, relatives and joint family shows that family is only together when it's abhinav and mimi's birth day and krishna janmasthami but same family is no where found when akshara is giving birth to abhir or akshara is getting married to abhinav.

Is it a joke that is going on here 😂 do they think audience are fool.

I preferred abhinav as her childhood friend who supports her in her struggle and eventually arohi and abhinav will get paired up and they could have ran parallel story with abhinav and arohi.

But choosing stranger over a such huge legacy family is slap on the face of 14 years old legacy of family and values.

That's not a slap rather, quite Rishta legacy trait... For gen 1 she went with husband leaving family, for Gen 2 she went without husband leaving family and stayed alone, Gen 3 she went without husband and MADE a family! So, I don't know which Rishta universe mein this would be slap, it would just be consistent with legacy...

Stranger who supported her through rough time would any day be better than lover who kicked you out in your worst times..! And it was one of the best phase of Gen 3 tbh.. But well DKP had to kill that for sake of leads reunion...

Abhinav as a character was introduced to make Akshara more likeable than nibbi/childish version they had before leap so I don't see how would that work with only childhood connection. See the moment they signed divorced papets before separation was just so that Akshara can be open to be married to someone else fair and square (Unlike Kartik who had bigamy with Vedika).

Coming profession.. I don't know why Jam making is looked down upon so much.. But fine... However, I think this time it was quite refreshing to see DKP break its rigid stereotyping of woman with only dancing and singing profession...

Sr. Akshara Singer, Ragini Dancer, Naira Dancer, Anupama Dancer, Vandana Singer... Maltab it felt like DKP refused to see woman beyond these cliché professions for themselves. Plus jam making was her way to be financially independent. AkshNav worked together to meet their daily needs but her ambition post leap seemed to be on becoming a lawyer only.

Khair, ab na kuch padhna na hai, na argue karna hai... But had to mention how Jr. Akshara is inline with legacy of the show...

SP seems to reply alot on RS and it's turning out that they are ending up making worst decision.

I feel if they had always planned 'death' of 'cameo' they should have really started working on improving ML's character! But they chose to just ignore it all and make all good things about Abhinav and Abhimanyu seemed like a typical villain of FL's happy family life! Wahan they went wrong!

I will tell u why profession of jam making wasn’t working out for everyone.. let’s compare Isha ambani of real world to AK of reel world.. imagine if she gets upset and leaves her family business..! Would her ending up making jam and selling it on day to day basis look like a career graph growth or downward curve..! AK comes from money and showing her as day to day lower middle class with aimlessly making poor to no income in Jam making is poor story execution..! They wanted her relatable to driver wife and introduced a half baked career. So her career along with character was compromised to uplift the cameo and I see no other reason becos with the cameo exit, she is back to enjoying the benefits of family money with a new shiny career. She would have still been show to come to this stage without jam making struggles.

It’s money plus respect for RS. During their Real or Reel interview with Anu lady, RS talked about how he respects people who stay committed to their work and honor the contract that was created- which he said he knows Harshad does. RS was like he had actors who wanted to quiet half way because they have other offers, he kept telling them please wait till your contract ends.
Harshad as Abhimanyu will always be remembered, the story line might be whatever but his character and his acting will always be remembered. I mean in this show as Abhimanyu, he has portrayed various shades and his acting has been applauded by other actors and critics, not just fans.
Yes he is 40 but he doesn’t look the age, he at most looks like he is in his 30s. He is a health freak and maintaining himself really well, so him playing older characters is waay in the future, not anytime soon. I was so shocked when I found out him and Manjiri are only one year apart and that Swarna is younger than him- I was like maybe it’s the characters on the show but then I saw their real life pics and both look still older than Harshad. Also, I remembered Harshad saying he doesn’t mind aging on tv that he is okay with full white hair, so he doesn’t mind getting old. He is like I will be handsome like my dad still🤣.
I really want to see Harshad do a show where he is a cop or lawyer.

I have a different viewpoint about HC’s work.. His role as Aditya and Sahir in humsufurs are my favorite.. Not liking him as Abhimanyu. Ha acting wise irrespective of whatever roles he plays he is best. it’s his personal choice why he is doing this show. I’ve seen that interview which you mentioned.. it’s during initial episodes, I think when he got his first itv award for this show.. at that time his character is being appreciated by everyone. It’s just after the leap it gone flat, and now even lower.. I too want to see him as a cop next.

His character Sahir is one of my favs also, the role was just something different, I didn’t even recognize Harshad at first. He played the role so well👏🏼

The exact reason can't be ascertained (until someone from the set opens up) but for me it's the money & associated awards. I think the reason Harshad signed in the first place was also bcos of the show's brand value.

Wasn't into IVs, trps n stuff before entering the forum. But as links were posted here so I watched them in free time. Harshad said in one of them that he signs shows based on script.. and it's a fact that in ITV scripts always go haywire from og theme in name of stretching.. which is beyond the control of an actor.. but unfortunately in this show there wasn't ever any script to begin with.!

The chemistry over which daily prose are written was truly nothing but nibba-nibbi pro max.. and I'm not even exaggerating this.

Shallow ckt sketches n switching from one sis to another shouldn't have been the core story in a show centered around family bonds. Plus the kind of love story Rajan uncle had planned for this gen, Harshad acc to me was a misfit both in terms of his stature as an actor and age.

But as I've read actors are receiving fat paychecks so I don't see any reason for complain. Only if producer had spent 1/3rd of this money on writers show would've sustained without the need of introducing cameos & killing ckts one by one.

This gen was destined to be a disaster & Abhira have headed that ship. Rajan uncle should be glad this worked over a yr thanks to his loyal legacy audience. But now it seems they've reached saturation as well.

Again, Every profession,job is respect worthy and hard work..but I’m talking about the reel character Akshara.. how believable was her story arc and her career choices..just my opinion.
