One of the most beautiful experience one can have and the best part of one’s existence is being a parent. The Almighty has given the gift of bearing a child to the females in most living beings. Scientifically the reason for this is - in most cases females have more capacity to bear pain, they’re more balanced, they have more empathy, they have the capacity to bring a whole new world to life as they’re selfless, they’re strong physically mentally emotionally to take care of themselves as well as unborn child and child once it’s born.

At the same time, a woman is given this gift only along with or in conjunction with a male (in case of natural birth). Of course now science is advanced and makes/females can adopt, there is IVF, surrogacy, etc. but I’m ignoring those for now. This is probably natures way of saying both are needed equally for a child’s happiness and well being. Both bring in different aspects of life which are equally if not more important in a child life.

Women usually tend to end up doing more for kids as it comes naturally but many times males also equally pitch in regarding everything about the child. As said before since usually women tend to have more empathy, it is natural for her to share this beautiful feeling with the father of her child. She tends to be the bridge if there’s a rift between the two and vice versa if there’s a rift between mother child.

Personally in my view, if this gift is used to bring out the worst in you, you becoming the worst version of yourself, then it’s an insult of this gift and Almighty. Of course there are exceptions - if either parent is violent/is prone to too much alcoholism or any other major reason, then keeping child away from that parent is in the best interest of the child. But if that’s not the case, then it’s nothing short of cruelty if one parent is entirely wiped out and his/her existence in child’s life is completely replaced to the extent that the parent doesn’t like to see them together for even for a moment.

Excellent post 👏

Being a woman, becoming pregnant and giving birth is a boon.. ❤️

In this era, I’ve seen many couples suffer and cry for a want of a their biological child which they’ve unable to do like the rest. Even IVF, IUF, etc is so costly. Surrogacy.. rich can do it but common couples.. can they still go for it in India?

Whatever shown in this serial in name of Drama.. things leading to miscarriage, marrying random stranger.. these things never happen in real life.

AK is a selfish, manipulating woman who cares just about I, Me, Myself. She knows to use and throw and she’s taught the same to her son. Everything you do in life is a Karma and I’m sure she’ll get it back from Abhir.. he’ll also use her and throw her away.. and if she protests, he’ll say he has learnt it from her.. by seeing her actions ie doings.

Lets not equate a beautiful emotion like motherhood with fictional characters like akshara and abhir. The makers have made joke out of everything and didn't leave this one too. Akshara staying away 4/5 days from her son is supposed to be equivalent to her ex husband not knowing about his kids existence and not being accepted by him.

Whatever happened with akshara and what will happen next is just her karma.

And very well-put!

The fact that these writers are bringing in such plots in the 21st century where women are finally getting to establish their place in society, is laughable! Women these days are able to confidently raise children by themselves, provide for their children, be the sole breadwinner of the family.

Especially when they don’t address it the right way, they don’t realize that this is an emotional trigger for a lot of parents out there. Parents who, even though are separated, go to great a extent to try and provide a healthy environment for their child while respecting the other’s boundaries. Parents who try and change their ways and become better humans so that their child looks up to them. Parents who work out their differences for the sake of their child. Actual parents who are fighting actual custody battles to get away from an actual abusive partner for the betterment of their children.

Here, they are showing the mother hiding the child from a father and changing his name on the birth certificate just cause of a divorce led by a misunderstanding. It is illegal, unethical, immoral. Show it as illegal, unethical, immoral. Don’t present it in such a way by hailing the woman for the decision she made, falsely portraying her as a strong and independent woman.
