Obviously, the court result was in no one's favor. To say that Abhi won is a literal ironic joke they have put in the show to garner more sympathy for everybody. I didn't see any happiness on anyone's face except for Manjari's, and that too for a split second. This is the fault of both Ak and Abhi. Ak for being so overconfident in her win that she accepted this ridiculous condition. The Goenkas played with Abhir's life by putting forth that condition. The Birlas were delusional in accepting it. And Abhi didn't fight nearly hard enough to make sure Abhir had all three of his parents with him. Abhi has frankly lost his way since Ak accused him of being the worst husband on this planet and even before since Neil's death. He has no idea what way is the right way, when he should speak up, and when he shouldn't etc. But this was a point where he shouldn't have accepted such a condition at all.
But coming to the acting. I loved every single person in it. Everyone gave such superb performances today but especially Abhi and Ak. HC showed Abhi's dilemma and his heart so plainly for everyone to see. All he wants is to be a part of his son's life, but that means he has to snatch away the Sharma fam's kid. He is making really difficult choices, but he is sticking to his guts, and when he can't, Manjari is supporting him. Abhi still loves Ak, maybe not like before, but that sort of thing never just goes away. And this whole process is killing him cause he can feel both his own pain and hers. This is in stark contrast to the white day when Abhi could only see his own pain, and he couldn't see Ak's pain and blamed her instead. Ak, on the other hand, was in the same position again. PR gave the same expressions she had on white day and the same open pallu and walking around listlessly. Then what brought her out of her issues was Abhir and the hope that he represented, and now that hope is taken back again, and she is back to where she was.
When Abhi won, his first reaction was relief, and then immediately, he was more concerned about Ak. He showed how much he cares about her again and, more importantly, how he is the only one to put her first. Ak was devastated, and his entire body language was shifted towards her. Nav himself was so devastated he didn't even look at Ak. BP went to Nav first, and only after that Suvrna went to Ak. Ak got up and fell into Abhi's arms. Because he was right there with her, wanting to hold her, wanting to make things better. Manjari went to get water. These three people are connected in such an illogical way that they both hurt each other immensely and also can't stop caring about each other. Manjari reminded Abhi that they were the reason for Ak's unhappiness. I loved her today, honestly. She is very clear about what she wants, and she has no real qualms with anyone. Abhi, on the other hand, is extremely confused. He wants things that are impossible right now and has no idea how to escape the pain that his very existence is bringing him and Ak.
Nav is a great support for Ak, but the reality is that when difficulty strikes, he is too wrapped up in his own misery to care for Ak. He really tried today to go after her, but it felt like they were both thrown back to the place they started with. Nav wanting to help her but being unable to reach her, and Ak being too traumatized to connect with Nav or anyone.
The next few episodes will be difficult with the transitions. What Abhir is being asked to do here is insane for a little kid. We all know that Abhi will give up Abhir's custody at some point. That is what everything is leading to. But I hope this brings everyone closer together and acts to heal them instead.
