As I hv said, the show now is not event based but emotion based. It is very difficult to write, emote and execute the emotion based plot as nothing roller coaster is happening.

Excellent episode again.

AK: I loved how AK went to AbhiM with a very clean slate. She did not blame AbhiM for what happened. She thought that AbhiM is a changed person based on his Kasauli stay. But, as I hv repeatedly had said, it remains to be seen for how much time the change persists and my guess came true. AK expected the changed AbhiM to discuss with her the possible amicable solution to the coparenting. But, she met semiold AbhiM, who easily gets manipulated by MJ. AK knows AbhiM and quickly realized that there is no point in discussing further with him and hence accepted the challenge.

The promise:

1. AK, the protector: Yes, the story is not about Mother- Son. The story is about father-son bond. ITV is female- protagonist based, where women are either shown to fight for their rights or for mother's right on their child. Since, the beginning, AK is shown to be an aknowledger, protector of the special AbhiN- AK bond. AK has never shown to feel insecured about the love Abhir has for AbhiN. This will be one of the rare times where a female protagonist will fight for father's right. AK has protected AbhiN- Abhir bond on multiple occaisions. When Abhir was upset with AbhiN for not giving him room, she made Abhir realize his mistake. When AbhiN could not manage his emotions during pre- surgery track, she managed him also.

2. Toughest: Today, AK was again the person, who made AbhiN feel confident and give the promise to Abhir that he will never leave them. If I guess it right, this is going to be one of the toughest promises, that AbhiN has to fulfill. With the promise, he now can't leave them and witness each and everything that would happen. As time passes, events are going to happen that would indicate that AbhiM is better suited to be with Abhir, and AbhiN has to let him go while staying around him. Abhir says things that he should not say ( separate room issue), so I am expecting Abhir saying not great things to AbhiN as the track progresses and still AbhiN staying around him due to the promise.

MJ: Not much to say about her. As she realized that AK loves AbhiN, she was quick to change her stance and bless AbhiN that him and AK would be together, but not Abhir. She changes colors quicker than a chameleon.

AbhiN: I liked the confidence that AbhiN showed today. The speciality of AK and AbhiN is that they are modest even during confrontation. AK was modest with AbhiM and AbhiN with MJ. AbhiN said what wise person would say. The way AbhiN build his family with people he had no relationship with, AbhiM has chance to do the same and everyone will live happily ever after. But, vile MJ and her puppet son, do not know what wisdom is.

AbhiM: After a long time, we see AbhiM back with spects, indicating he is back to what he was. The way words of MJ and what her heart wishes does not match, it is the same with AbhiM. In hearts of his heart, he wants 'haq' over Abhir. When he said today, we all are thinking about junior, it sounded so hollow as he is thinking about his haq as a father. As against it, AbhiN was not wanting to promise Abhir, as if needed, he is ready to disappear if that saves Abhir from pain. AbhiM said nobody is thinking about Abhir, but AbhiN has always thought about Abhir first.

Also, AbhiM said, Abhir is the most important to him, so what about Ruhi? He is just a docman to Abhir, but a would be Papa to Ruhi.

Abhir: Great dialogue. Abhir said to AbhiM that AbhiM will miss him. He did not say I will miss you. He just wanted him to stay 1-2 days more just like kids say to any guest relative they love.

It is painful to watch Abhir being made to go through the emotional turmoil. I wish ultimately, he gets the love of all three parents of his. Having said that, till now, I hv always felt that Abhir is fascinated by skills, personality and adoration that AbhiM gives him. I do not see him hving deep connection with AbhiM as he has with AbhiN. Also, Abhir said he will stay with AbhiM, it is because he has not seen all shades of AbhiM yet. Ruhi has seen it all and has moved on from AbhiM. Abhir has to make that journey yet.

Random predictions:

AbhiN and the cake: In one of the old old episodes, Abhir and Ruhi fought over Poppy, while Ruhi holding the cupcake. In the argument, the cupcake fell down. AbhiN came with new cupcake, saying the previous cupcake was the bad one. Take the new one, which is good and share it. May be I m reading too much into the scene, but if it was intentionally written, I expect AbhiN to become Ruhi's father figure too ( NOT papa) in the future.
