🌟 An Appreciation Post for Abhimanyu Birla 🌟

Today, I want to take a moment to appreciate a character who has captured our hearts with his complex emotions, Abhimanyu Birla. He is a man whose journey through life has been filled with childhood trauma, mistakes, and growth. Abhimanyu's story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the capacity to learn from our past. Please Note that I am talking as per ITV ML standards.

From the very beginning, it has been shown that Abhimanyu's tough childhood shaped him into the person that he was. His relationship with his mother, characterized by both love and trauma, added layers of depth to his character, showcasing the complexity of their bond.

Love, marriage, and fatherhood are significant aspects of Abhimanyu's life so far. I have personally liked him, was irked, hated him how he behaved on the White day, waited for him to realise where he was wrong and from my POV I can see he has realized what he did was wrong. Even though I wanted him to apologize to Akshara instead of confessing in front of Shefali of how wrong he was. I accepted that as in a show full of flawed characters he is the only one who has accepted what he did and how he did was wrong even though in front of Shefali and once in front of his own family that he was wrong.

So despite his mistakes and the repercussions they bought, Abhimanyu has shown growth and maturity in accepting that his ex-wife doesn't love him anymore, his son has another father too. Six years of fostering Ruhi reflected his selflessness and his commitment to family. He embraced this responsibility wholeheartedly, promising to love and care for Ruhi indefinitely.

One particular moment that stands out as a testament to Abhimanyu's growth for me was when he realized that Akshara was confessing her feelings for Abhinav, not him, he handled it with grace and acceptance. He didn't even for a moment thought that this could be for him. This scene for me showcased his acceptance of the fact that he had lost the special place he once held in Akshara's heart. Rather than seeking vengeance or feeling bitter, he chose to prioritize his son. Abhimanyu understands the importance of maintaining Abhinav's place in Abhir's life while also carving out his own space, which he has somewhat achieved with success at least as DocMan.

It is disheartening to see how Abhimanyu is being wronged at the moment by those he loved(Akshara), trusts(Nav), and cares for(Goenkas). He has paid the price for his unintentional mistakes, yet everyone around him seems unable to see his growth and change.

In my view, Punishing a father for the crimes of a husband(He wasn't even a very bad husband would be unjust, as Abhimanyu's actions reflect his growth and willingness to make amends.

Italic: And Akshara even though she claimed that it was a Umair Kaid for her is aware of this.

I hope his path continue towards happiness, and the love and acceptance he deserve. He is a beautifully complex character. 🌟

I really loved few characters of abhi.

1. Care for wife's family. In real life it's hard to find ppl like him who treats wife's family as equal. He ensured to take care of them even used to conduct health check ups. Irrespective of he was with akshu or not.

2. Supportive of wife's career. There was a phase where abhi had some issues in his hand and he could not perform surgery. But instead of being jealous he ensured to get akshu's life back on track and supported her in every way so that she can have her singing career for her. The iconic kaise hua is still plays in my mind 😊

3. Standing up for her dignity. Abhi always protected akshu from gorillas and harsh.

4. His never ending love for his wife. Even after akshu left him 1 year he was still obedient to her and when there was 6 year leap he never thought of marrying anyone. People like him will not leave wife during illness if wife is not impulsive like akshu. 🙂

5. Dad everyone knows i don't want to mention.

I definitely liked abhimanyu as husband, son and now as dad.😇

I understand your feelings, though I don’t agree with all the points.

Abhimanyu has had an interesting journey, and is making some progress.

Though you talk about him being the only one who accepted his flaws, didn’t akshu also admit in front of Goenkas that hiding abhir’s truth was a mistake on her part?

and also, how is he being wronged by Abhinav right now? Weren’t Abhinav and akshara about to tell abhir the entire truth? Didn’t Abhinav say that he is ready to tell abhir the complete truth during their confrontation with manju aunty? I don’t understand how telling abhir the truth about his real father be advantageous to Abhinav?

Though I agree about goenkas, they had no right to make that decision on behalf of the three parents!

p.s. if you just made the post to appreciate Abhimanyu and don’t want to be discussing any other points in this post, let me know, I’ll edit my post!!

Abhi is and always has been a character who had to constantly deal with lot of things.

He has always been straightforward about what is in his heart. This quality of his has resolved many things but also has been his weakness as well. But still his character is the only one having the guts to acknowledge the mistakes and work beyond that.

People who have no family have sadness in their lives but people who have a dysfunctional family relationships have lot of pressure as well, especially to keep things intact. And Abhi has kept his family intact for these 6 years.

He is a perfectly balanced complex and layered character. That's why I feel makers lost an opportunity to showcase more where there was so much scope.

Anyway, I came here for HC. But sadly, left the show before he left. I don't see the episodes anymore. But I just hope, just hope that Abhi gets an ounce of happiness in this life. He has gone through a lot of pain as well from even before Akshara came into his life.

So if anyone deserves some love, it is him. He has already suffered enough for the mistakes he has done.

@bold 1 - Akshu has done a lot of mistakes if you see in retrospect. None so big that deserves the punishment she got from Abhi on White day but she did. And even after agreeing k ok she did wrong she is constantly seen making excuses on telling Abhir the truth.

About Abhinav in precap the we he is saying apke rwp wants custody and all is twisted truth. Abhir deserve the whole truth and yes i meant tell him every sequence of the white day but first tell him Docman is your father let him ask Abhi why he left. Does he not love him then and now he is back.

But Abhinav in hindsight twist words too just like Akshu in ITV that's never pointed out.

No every opinion is welcome. This is a public forum and I will appreciate healthy discussion.

Adding both Akshu and Abhinav from past few times have said a lot but doesn't reflect in actions. Right after the surgery Akshu's attitude changed towards Abhi whom a while ago she hugged and said she is grateful for him that he saved her baby.

Ref: when abhir gain consciousness and called for Abhi.

Abhinav in precap twisted words, he said he wants to reunite the father son duo but makes no effort.

And by saying trust Nav i meant now.

First Kasauli trip Abhinav and Abhi shared no such bond but after initiating that friendship even after knowing the truth that Abhimanyu is the ex he continued his bond with Abhi. Hence, creating a trust angle which from my view he is breaking not intentionally again. Abhinav isn't planning to do that he is not that kinda person so far but he is twisting words as per precap.

Great post for Abhi ,he deserves this appreciation 👏, I feel very sad for him,he deserves better people in his life, a great human being with flaws, who wants to rectify those flaws willingly...

Even I hope his journey towards his son gives him love and affection which he truly deserves...

Please note even I say as per itv standards, this is purely my opinion..

Very nicely written and summarized 👍🏼

Abhimanyu as a character is an interesting balance of intensity and softness ....that is what his original character sketch was and now makers have evolved him in this new journey as a person willing to own his mistakes and live with the consequences while still not giving up on the son that was wrongfully kept away from him for 6 years.

His willingness to still give so much regard to those who rarely ever showed any regard for his emotions as a father has really elevated him further in my eyes👏

Wonderful post Mickey💕💕💕. Abhi to me is undoubtedly the best character and the soul of season 3. A perfectly flawed character.

He absolutely deserves all the appreciation. I hope makers show him getting what his heart craves for and he rightfully deserves, his son's love and affection.
