my view Siri, he is holding himself back. He has never stopped loving her. He knows if he starts showing emotions, she might sway his way that will put her in a difficult spot. He also knows AK and her loyalty to AA. Dont think he wants to go through the same pain he did last time or put AK in an awkward situation.

I wouldn't compare the mother's here. But, Manjari herself didn't have a place in her hubby's life back then. She couldn't fight for herself. Moreover, abhi and harsh had problems. How could she fight for Neil?? I agree that Neil didn't get his dad's love. But he got every other relation equally.
