I have never really understood how Abhira is the story of people being in love with the idea of love or even with the idea of a person. If that was the intention, the execution didn't really show it. First, if the concept is being in love with the idea of love, then both Ak and Abhi should have had at least some inclination toward that. Instead, when they met, Abhi was decidedly against love (a common occurrence for kids from bad marriages ), and Ak was hoping to love herself first instead of loving someone else. Then how exactly were they in love with the idea of love?
The second theory is that they had misconceptions about each other, didn't really know each other, and then were disappointed later. Again this makes no sense. The Achilles heel for Abhi is his anger, and for Ak is her rash emotional decisions and lying. During the pre-confession track, both of these were revealed to each other. They both had ample time to understand the other person's worst qualities. Infact, they hardly had any good times together, so how does this track?
Let's say that they were in the infatuation phase, so didn't really see each other's faults. Even if that is the case, everything after the first leap doesn't make sense. They got to divorcing each other. They both were completely aware of each other's faults at that point and were no longer infatuated. Then why did they get back together and have a kid ??? What was the purpose of getting them back together just for a baby and then going to a second leap? The idea that Abhira weren't actually in love doesn't make sense. The idea that they aren't in love right now also doesn't make any sense.
Then why cross couples? Why white day? Why Akshnav and Abrogi? Why? Why? Why?
