Here’s an idea - I think historically in this show the brother of the FL marries the ML’s sister.

This might be their way of hammering it in that Ak did chose another husband and they are honoring the second husband by making his “sister” part of the “rishta” tradition.

Didn't that only happen in gen 2! Varsha and original muskaan (I think that was her name as well) were not related to Naitik at all! Varsha was Akshara's bes friend and muskaan and Akshara's cousin had a love marriage, she was punjab!

Diya only thing I refuse to give them a Jodi name. It will be AkAnd AA for me. They look like siblings together and whatever affection they are trying to show, it’s feels forced. Entirely my opinion 🙏
