Have always been there in Dec and used to go from Florida. Twice went for the ball drop and couldn’t take the cold so went back to the hotel and watched it on tv. Always wanted to go there when it’s warm. I love NYC I feel like am back in Mumbai.

Exactly, let him find some happiness. Abhimanyu is broken too. I am not defending what he did, but he realises what he did was wrong. He realises everyone was at fault, unlike Akshara who puts all the blame on Abhi's head. Now he can't turn back time right, and undid what he did? They need to move forward in narrative.

Abhimanyu hasn't reached the upbringing part yet.

He just now got to know that Abhir is his kid, so he is just showering his love with things, cause zabaan se kuch Abhir ko bolna toh usse allowed hi nahi hai.

Abhi and Ak are divorced parents- they must learn to coordinate gift buying- I think Akshara is right in making Abhir appreciate the things he has and not succumb to the “buy more” philosophy. Abhi already got him shoes in Kasauli - maybe those are only for football?

At the same time I don’t think AbhiM was trying to outdo Nav’s pocket in buying/gifting those shoes.

There is no need to make every encounter a battlefield. But perhaps this is the only way Abhi will put on his listening ears. They need to learn to coordinate gifting so as to not spoil the child - I’m sure every divorced couple goes through this and comes to an understanding- so will AbhiM and Akshara.

I think Ak needs to learn some lessons on how to deal with him she has 2 options

one is to learn from you know who.

And the other option is my way Tackle him like in 🏈 or 🤼‍♀️ drop him down sit on him and talk to him. I would prefer this one because automatically contact will lead to pheromones dopamine serotonin oxytocin being produced ( my sentence could be grammatically incorrect but I think you got the message)

[I agree I don’t attribute such a thought to AbhiM .. whatever else I might think of him , I definitely do not believe he is trying to put on a show of wealth to win Abhir .. he just loves pampering the ones who are the current objects of his love.. not trying to belittle his love either ..

He is now “promising to try” - he even asked Roohi for a “promise to try “ today.

With Abhir at the camp he did the same he promised to try to take care of the mango tree.

Is a “promise to try” an easy way to get away with not fulfilling the promise compared to an actual full blown “promise”

or “is a promise to try” a more authentic effort to fulfill the promise and at the same time practical enough to accept that sometimes circumstances could hinder someone from keeping the promise?

I think he has realized that he has broken several promises in the past and does not want the burden of that. But despite this realization too, no sorry yet!!

when will the makers make us a promise that they will try and do better. Honestly these episodes are even painful to read about.

Actually this is one of the things I wished they could show .. that knowledge of Akshu and Abhimanyu what each of them can or cannot do even if they are not together .. I wish they could show that Akshara had the sane belief that Abhimanyu will not use wealth to buy Abhir’s love .. but May be the lawyer using wealth in custody battle has made her believe that AbhiM will stoop to that level? Don’t know what they are showing .. but it does feel like AbhiN will exit .. it could be accident .. and Akshara will blame AnhiM and Manjari for making finances a part of the custody battle ..
