As the for 7 months before Akshu announced she got married it was very valid to ask why did no one look for her or ask about her whereabouts. For that Abhi deserves to be questioned about that. But once she announced she got married what real right did Abhi have to go look for a married woman? Who I am sure he find out had a child. He was under the impression she moved on and had a kid with another man. That is why that mandir confession scene was Abhi crossing the line as he was asking a married woman to come back to him.
As for the custody case it is obvious more misunderstanding with the families getting involved making things messier for everyone. People are high on emotion and anger. When one was trying to be as calm as they could and listen and ask just to spend time with his son he was told over and over again to stay away and was given lectures about how he didn't have any rights on Abhir. Then the papers being submitted at that point anyone would lose their patience. And then the other person comes and decides they want to talk of course they won't be heard because they had spent most of their time fighting and and taunting in the beginning.
Also custody battles are ugly. Of course they are going to look into finances from both sides. This is about who can provide the proper care for the child. That includes financial support as well as emotional well being and a stable home environment.
And any lawyer hired is going to go all out for their client. I am sure the other lawyer will call out Abhi's character and paint him as a horrible monster and domestic abuser. And say Birlas cannot provide an emotional stable home environment.
Just be prepared to see Twitter wars of Abhi vs Akshu with dialogues courtesy of what has been dumped on the tags. Character assassinations glore on both Akshu and Abhi. And only person who will probably come up smelling like roses is Abhinav cause no epsidoe or track is complete without his glorification.
