Did Akshara make the right decision?

She sends Abhi a legal notice (restraining order), which means she is basically instigating a custody battle. Which by her pov she was all but told to expect from Manjari. On the one hand she's making a smart tactical move, if she's expecting to take this all the way to court. Having a restraining order sets precedence that maybe the father is not a trust worthy parent.

On the other hand, she obviously crossed a line and ensured that this case was going to be fought in court; whereas, as the viewers we know that Abhi was not thinking to take it there.

From the characters pov she was making smart moves as per what was told to her what was coming. On the other hand, she didn't really try the talking it out route first - which would be preferable to all parties involved.

side note: why is Abhi pleading with his mother to drop the custody battle in court idea when he is the one that can make that case. Manjari would have a very weak standing so all he needs to do is tell her is not entertaining it...but obviously who am I even talking about? His mommy holds his strings

Today Akshara seemed like she didn’t want a custody battle either because she said even if she has to beg maa (Manjari) she will for the sake of Abhir.

I think Manjari might take Abhir somewhere without consent to which Akshara files a restraining order. This results in Abhimanyu filing for custody. Abhimanyu doesn’t want a custody battle but he wants to be with Abhir and wants him to knows he’s his father so if he’s kept away from his child, he’ll file for custody.

From the Abhir , Ruhi scenes today I have a feeling that it may not fully be Manjari’s fault too may be .. Goenkas take the kid there or somehow for Abhir , Ruhi to meet something happens which ends up in a mess or misunderstanding? If they want to show Abhi and Mara we’re not really at fault .. so don’t know if really she would do something or it will be a misunderstanding ..

From the first episode iam seeing Akshu do opposite of what her mind says .. 😂

I think sending a legal notice and initiating a custody battle was not the best decision. While it may be a smart tactical move, it can also create a lot of stress and tension for everyone involved, especially the child. It's always better to try and resolve things through communication and negotiation before resorting to legal action. Abhi should have also taken a more active role in the situation instead of relying on his mother to handle everything. Ultimately, the focus should be on what is best for the child and their well-being.

I agree with this but then I remember...how else will show create drama if the characters behaving reasonably. It's actually easy to resolve something like this without the court if both families can sit down and think through what's reasonable and what they want to get out of the situation

He's the only family member who supports her. Everyone else lets someone else come in to the house and wipe the floor with her and just keep entirely mum about it

How I wish someone would tell Manjari that you are not welcome here .. Jo hamara bacchi ki Bhalayi nahin chahti ho woh hamare ghar se door hi behtar hai .. .. Mimi can say this probably .. I know it won’t happen .. but I can dream
