You are right it’s not strict in India

but she has to prove she’s next of kin. As of now she’s the mother of Abhir’s mom’s ex husband, who divorced his mom in a minute,😆 just with one signature done. I am still wondering who keeps divorce papers at home ready. It’s a Hindi serial so logic takes a back seat but it’s fun to laugh at such things.

In reality, Abhimanyu can never win full custody of Abhir unless Akshara can be proven mentally incapable but for the sake of TRP maybe they will show Abhimanyu winning or getting joint custody where Abhir stays with him half the time and stays with Akshara the other half. This will bring in a lot of drama and TRP because Akshara will be shown missing/ crying buckets for Abhir when he’s not with her and Abhir will not be able to adjust in the Birla house, missing his parents, and so forth.

Looks like Akshara might go beg in front of Manjiri, she doesn’t agree and decides to take Abhir somewhere without consent and Akshara files for a restraining order. This results in Abhimanyu filing for custody. Right now Abhimanyu doesn’t seem like he wants to go that route because he knows it will get ugly and is not healthy for the child. However, he does want Abhir to know the truth after surgery so he can call him papa and spend time with him. Not sure how he was planning on telling the truth but still I don’t think Abhimanyu will take Abhir anywhere since he’s done that already but this time Manjari will do the deed.
